Feedback Problem for The Tower

I'm currently in Ireland and I was just informed that my electric bill was over $200. My thermostat was set to 60 as of January 15th and I have unplugged and turned off most of my electronics. I am very confused as to how my electric bill is this much and I'd like to get to the bottom of this as soon as possible. My mother will be following up as I don't have a convenient way of keeping in contact.

Hi Michael, thanks for your inquiry. We apologize for the frustrating situation you are experiencing. Due to the drastic weather change this past week, such as below freezing to -30 degrees, this will effect your electric bill because of the very low temperatures. Consumer's Energy has a very helpful energy breakdown report that will show your day-to-day electric usage versus the outside temperature and how much each day is costing. We highly advise all residents to review this report in their Consumer's account! We can put in a work order for you and have Maintenance inspect your thermostats to ensure they are functioning properly. If you have any other questions or concerns, please contact the office. Thank you!
