There have been a few orange scooters blocking the sidewalk in front of the 2227 building recently. As an able-bodied person, I am able to walk around them, but they make it so that people who use mobility aids (wheelchairs, walkers, etc.) are not able to use this sidewalk. This is creating an accessibility issue for residents and guests. I think an easy way to solve this problem would be to ask people to turn their scooters sideways so they aren't blocking the sidewalk or ask them to park them somewhere else. Thank you so much for your attention to this matter.
Thank you for taking the time to bring this issue to our attention! I think it is a perfect recommendation to request that residents park scooters in a way that does not block the sidewalk. This will be increasingly more important as winter sets in and the chance of snow increases. I appreciate your concern for the wellfare of your fellow residents and for our community. Have a great weekend!
Thank you so much for addressing this Melissa! I hope you have a good weekend as well.
