Feedback Problem for Meadowbrook Village

Last night when we arrived at home, we were shocked to see heavy leak on the bathroom ceiling. This is 3rd time in last 5 months we faced this issue and this time it was worse than previous incidents. The leaked area was so bad it looked like breaking. I called emergency maintenance and later he poked the area of leak, drained the dirty water and advised our neighbors in the top floor not to use the bathroom until the leak is fixed. We hope someone will look into this today. The concern is this should have been taken care at the time of first incident. Instead some temp fix was made or the other leaking areas were not looked into properly leading to this situation as last night. We had a similar issue in the other bathroom where we had to call maintenance several times to fix the leak around the toilet. Eveytime they came they applied the white seal in some places but the problem did not solve. after multiple visits the toilet ring was replaced and still we had to make calls to replace the floor vinyl whihc were severly damaged by the leak. Ironically today the next lease period starts and I'm now not happy about it.

Thank you for reaching out and expressing your concerns. I am so sorry to hear of the repeated issues in your home! Unfortunately, the issue that occurred last night was a new issue, but we are aware of what caused the leak and it is being fixed first thing this morning. We will make sure that your ceiling is repaired once the area dries out (this can take a couple of days as we have to wait for the area of the leak to dry out).

My goal is to ensure all of our residents are happy with their homes, so if there are any other concerns that you have or would like for us to address, please feel free to stop by the office or let me know a good time to reach out by phone so that we can discuss them.

I apologize again for any inconvenience this has caused, and I hope you have a great day!

Thanks for the reply. I would like to let you know that work has not been started yet so far. Maintenance did not reach to us and not sure what is the plan. This definitely doesn't look good.

Hi, Premsundar! The work was completed in the apartment above yours first thing this morning. Once your drywall in your ceiling has dried out, it will be patched and repaired. This will likely be on Monday so the ceiling has sufficient time to dry out so the repair is successful. I will maintenance stop by today to make sure your bathroom is cleaned up, but the repair will not be until early next week.

Our Maintenance technician just stopped by to double check that everything had been cleaned up after the leak last night, and it had - he also spoke with Sakthi and explained the repair process to her. Please feel free to contact the office if you have any questions!

Thanks for checking. We were not informed of any of the work done until sometime ago when I asked for an update. It would have been nicer if we were informed in a call or email. The bucket with dirty water and debris is still left behind in the bathroom and I would have expected that to be removed when the technician came in. that was left by the technician last night.

I am so sorry about that; the technician thought that belonged to you - he will swing by this morning and pick that up for you!
