Snow Removal update: Monday, February 12, 2018

Announcement for Multiple Communities

Good Morning!

First off, thank you so much for your patience as our maintenance team cleared and salted our community this past weekend. I really appreciate your feedback. We will continue to work on clearing parking lots today, and we realize there is still a lot of snow in between and behind cars. In order for our maintenance team to most effectively clear parking spots, we ask that you please move your vehicles to areas where the snow has been cleared, so the plow can clear a good stretch of parking spots.

Again, I really appreciate each of you and your assistance in...

Is the lot clearing going to actually happen at some point? The parking spots for 2113 haven't been touched since this notice went out. I'm ok because I'm in a truck, but I feel bad for the smaller cars that have to sit there and try to wriggle into a spot with mounds of frozen snow on all sides and underneath.

You guys are flat out wrong!! The parking lot is a huge safety issue. Can't safely move in or out of the parking lot or our cars. You guys act like slum lords. I'm sure you guys don't keep the employee entrance unsafe like this. This is sad, sorry & ridiculous. Does corporate even know the lack of attention to the parking lots at Glencoe Hills. We are your customers. There's about 8 inches of snow in the parking lot & the back entrance is icy. We pay too much money to live here and not be able to safely get in & out of the apt bldg or our cars because of the depth of the snow and why do you guys just plow the islss, why not the parking spaces also. No excuse, never seen anything like it.

Snow removal update

Announcement for Multiple Communities

Good Afternoon Dear Residents,

Happy snowy Friday! I wanted to write to provide an update regarding our snow removal plans. Our maintenance team has been diligently working on snow removal throughout the day. The Winter Storm Warning in effect anticipates snow fall to taper off late this evening. Our team will continue to clear the driveways and sidewalks until 6 PM tonight. Snow removal will resume tomorrow morning at 6 AM and will have all sidewalks, stoops, stairs and driveways cleared as soon as we can.

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department has issued a level 3...

The sidewalks and porches haven't been done around my court/whole area directly south of the office since this morning. I understand clearing snow is hard when it's an all day event, but come on... even a small path and porch clearing would be better than nothing.

2160 building area hasn't been done AT ALL. Including the parking lot. Same thing earlier this week.
