Gate Code

Feedback Problem for Willow Flats

Monday night I contacted the after hours number about the gate code on the Gomez side of the complex. I was given 3002 which is what my son said it was but it did not work. So I tried the gate on the Platt side and that code worked. I called back to the after hours number to let him know what I had found out. He then said he thought on the Gomez side it maybe 0301 but that did not work. Please let me know what the correct gate code for the Gomez side. Thanks Pennie Friend

The keypads to the gates have now been activated.  Please do not turn the deadbolt on the inside of the gate, this will cause the gates to not open.  If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me at 813-468-4450.

Thank you,

Austin

Gate codes and Washer being broken

Feedback Problem for Willow Flats

I have come home numerous nights with the front gate being locked with the code not working to unlock it. Was wanting to know whats going on with that and the second washer is still broken and was wanting to know when that would be fixed. Thanks.

Thank you Kyle for your feedback.  The gate codes have not been activated yet because we are in the process of changing the keypads.  If the gate is locked when you come home then someone must be locking them from the inside.  As far as the washer, GE is scheduled to come out on Monday, October 16th to fix and may have to replace the washer due to vandalism.  If you have any information regarding the vandelism of this washer please contact me at 813-468-4450.

Thank you Austin!

The entry keypads are scheduled to be replaced this week at Willow Flats.  The new keypads will automatically lock when the gate is closed and the code on the keypad will remain functional.  We apologize for this inconvenience while we work through these final items with the community improvements.  Thank you for the feedback!

How are we going to be receiving Amazon/UPS/FedEx shipments with the new gates being locked? We don't have an office or anywhere for them to drop them off securely. Obviously things being stolen is already an issue, so leaving packages at the gate isn't an option.

arothenbush's picture

Thank you Zachary for your feedback.  When you place an order that is being shipped via USPS, FedEx or UPS they usually have a "special instructions" section that you can list the gate code for them.  We have not had any issues at any of our other properties that we have a gate code entry for them to deliver packages as long as you put the gate code in when you place the order.

Thank you,

Austin

Stolen items

Feedback Problem for Willow Flats

I came home to my steps being painted and my plants moved, except my larger plant was completely gone. I've now had a bicycle and a potted plant stolen off my steps since I moved in... since I am outside the gated portion, I'm not sure I benefit much from a porch if everything will just be stolen? Also, I noticed I can fit my hand through the gates and unlock it without a code, are these the only security measures planned for this complex moving forward? I've lived in much sketchier parts of Tampa for cheaper without coming home to missing items.....

I am sorry to hear about this, please give me a call at 813-468-4450 so I can help you with this matter.

Willow Flats - What are you guys going to do for the identification of units? Numbers are painted over.

Feedback Problem for Willow Flats

I keep losing packages, and none of the carriers including Amazon couriers seem to know where to go and they drop my package off at random residencies. This is getting out of hand. I can't sit there and constantly lose time and money on a lack of the delivery people not knowing where the hell to go. There's 3 A units and three B units. They don't know which one is which. The mailman barely knows, and they're the fools who came up with this naming/address scheme! Could we just have some nice lettering/numbering go up that can be viewed from the street level outside of the...

Good evening,

Thank you for your feedback.  The new building and apartment numbers are in the mail and should arrive within the next two weeks and be installed within that time frame.  The new mailboxes arrived and will be installed within the next week.

Have a nice evening,

Gasoline stored under tarp, under stairwell???

Feedback Problem for Willow Flats

As I walked around the property recently I was stunned to see the amount of stuff left unsecured outside including metal sheets, aluminum ladders, wooden planks, stacks of 2x4's, plastic cones and best, an assortment of full gasoline containers stored underneath a tarp, under the main stairwell. The fumes coming from under the tarp are dizzying. Given the coming hurricane how is it possible all of this assorted stuff went unattended? A neighbor on this block asked me to call regarding the cement slabs and cones next to the mailboxes on Gomez and I did. They're still there. Unsecured...

Hurricane Irma - Get Prepared!

Announcement for Multiple Communities

Good afternoon McKinley Hyde Park Residents! As we are sure you are aware, Gov. Rick Scott has declared a state of emergency in the state as rapidly growing Hurricane Irma, now upgraded to a Category 5 storm, is expected to make landfall later this week. Our team is extremely busy carrying out hurricane preparedness protocol at all of our communities in Hyde Park and South Tampa. You will see sandbags are being positioned, gutters are being cleaned, trees are being trimmed and as many necessary and preventative measures are being taken to prepare for the impending storm. Because our first...

Would like to know if we will be provided with sandbags for doors as well - or if we need to obtain our own. Thank you!

Are we aloud to tape the windows or will other protocol be taken for this? I am going out of town and want to make sure my apartment is secure or if there is anything that I need to do prior to leaving.

I would really like these questions answered. Is there going to be any protection provided for our windows? Can we fortify them ourselves?

Good evening McKinley Hyde Park Residents,

Thank you for reaching out with your questions. At this time we have taken all necessary preventative measures in preparation for the storm. We have deployed all sandbags and water removal pumps, placing them strategically at each of the communities based on flooding threats. We will not be boarding up the windows, and ask that you please do not attempt to do so yourself.

Please continue to monitor and follow the instructions of our local and state government officials. Stay safe, and don't hesitate to reach out to us directly with concerns. Thank you!

Best Regards,

The Hyde Park Team

Hey everyone. I live in building 302 and there was a mailbox for us and they moved it while renovating. I am expecting mail and a package and I'm not sure where the mailbox went! LOL! does anyone know?...
