Good evening Residents,

For tomorrow only, 4/18, we will have restricted leasing office hours. We will be open from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm and will return to normal business hours of 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Thursday, 4/19. Our after hours line along with emergency maintenance will be available should any emergencies arise. All other inquiries we will address promptly on Thursday morning.

Good afternoon McKinely Hyde Park Residents,

The Schoolhouse Flats office hours will be changing effective Monday, April 9, 2018, please see new hours:

Monday - Friday 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Saturday 10:00 - 5:00 pm

This will only affect the in office hours, you will still be able to reach us by phone, 813-304-2776. If you have any questions regarding these changes please feel free to reach out to us.

Hello,

My name is Mark Ehlert. I live at 404 S Newport Avenue #7 at the Schoolhouse Flats. I spoke to someone in the office about the residents in #9. I was told that there have been issues with them before. I have them a warning around one month ago saying that the quiet hours are from 10pm-8pm everyday. It is now 12:21am as I type this, and they are being very loud with their friend(s). This can’t continue as they have been warned before. Please help make this place a quieter place for everyone. My phone number is 813-734-9490. They won’t stop until something is done unfortunately.

Also, it is now 3:20am and #17 was extremely loud. I just told them to quiet down along with the quiet hours, and they didn’t really care too much. Please do something with these two units as some of us have careers and are saving for retirement.

Hello Alia, Did you have pest control at Olivia Flats today? There is a horribly strong Chemical smell in the hallway that has made its way into my apartment and surely others. If so in the future could you please have maintenance air out the building so that we do not have to have these strong smells in our apartments as well. Thanks

Laundry room

Feedback Problem for Willow Flats

I have had multiple issues with the card machines not accepting my card, sometimes you have to swipe multiple times for it to not decline it, other times it won't work at all. These are Visa cards with sufficient funds. Also, people need to be more considerate when using the machines. Often the machines are occupied with laundry that is finished, even after multiple trips back it remains in the machine. With only two machines, we need to be more cognizant of others who would also like to do laundry...

New Washing Machines

Feedback Problem for Willow Flats

As reported two days ago, one of our lovely new washing machines has already broken but of course, is accepting payments. I am not persnickety enough to ask for a 2.25 refund, but the least that could be done is get it fixed in a more timely manner. It is the weekend and most people are wanting to do laundry but we are down to one machine to share among all of us. It was bad enough that the machines were replaced in the first place but not after even 1 full week of use we're already down to one? This is NOT acceptable...

The Left Washer

Feedback Problem for Willow Flats

The left washer is out of order, do not try and wash your clothes. You pay $2.00 and report the problem and they said they would refund me by mailing me a $2.00 check.

Hi Jessie,

I am very interested in understanding why this change was made and also why the tenants were not notified prior to change actually taking place? In addition to "Saving water and electricity" (questionable) the newly added machines are also costing us money, all of which only benefit McKinley. It is inconvenient enough that we do not have washers and dryers in our units but now coupled with the fact that we are having to pay per wash, makes for a very unpleasant tenant experience. I understand that you are in the unfortunate position of being the bearer of bad news, however I cannot help but voice my frustration with this decision. I would like to think I am speaking on behalf of the entire community that this change is not being well received.

Starting this week we are officially switching pest control providers! Previously, we were with Massey, but in order to serve you all to the best of our abilities, we have chosen to switch providers. We will now be working closely with Florida Pest Control for any and all pest related related issues. Along with this change in provider will be a change in service dates. Previously we had a Friday service date, but with Florida Pest we will have a Wednesday service date. If there are any questions or concerns you are more than welcome to give the office a call...
