With Gasparilla approaching, we wanted to send a friendly reminder about parking. Please be aware that the city may have additional restrictions on parking during this time.

The below parking rules should always be followed as it ensures that residents are given priority when it comes to parking and it is also a part of the lease agreement. If your community requires a decal, please make sure that you always have a decal placed in a visible area on your front windshield.

Washing Machine Cost Increase

Feedback Question for Manhattan Flats

Hello! In the past couple months, the washing machine cost for Manhattan Flats has increased to $2 per machine, and the dryers have increased as well. This is the first time I have seen an increase since moving in August of 2017. With the increase of rent every year, I do not understand why the cost of a washing machine has increased as well. Is this only at Manhattan Flats or is it all Mckinley apartment complexes? An explanation would be appreciated, thank you.

Hello Julia, 

Thank you for taking the time to reach out in reference to your appliances. As a resident of the community, you have every right to be involved and know about any price increases or changes to the community. With the appliances, they are owned and managed by a separate company that did increase the pricing in order to use the appliances. Since we were notified of the increase several weeks ago we reached out to CSC works to find out more about why the price changed. We are actively checking in with them but are still awaiting a response. 

This increase was for all community's that use their services which leads me to believe that this was a decision within the company that affected all of the appliances that they manage. Noise

Feedback Problem for Manhattan Flats

My neighbors in apartment 57 are literally so loud. I’m typing this at 11pm and have been trying to sleep for an hour. This is not the first time. I understand it’s an apartment and there will be noise but we have quiet hours. This isn’t a dorm.

The dryers are not working agian

Feedback Problem for Manhattan Flats

*shocking* Put my sheets in the washer and the dryers were working and when I went back downstairs to put them from the washer to the dryer, the dryers were all offline. Now I have to drive my wet sheets somehwere to dry them. Thanks!

Hello,

Thank you for the feedback. I have inspected the dryers and they are working properly. Please call the number on the front of the dryer if there is ever an issue with service. They will send someone out to repair the dryer and also assist you with a refund if money was lost in the machine. Also, please put in a work order if you notice that the dryers are not working, as that goes directly to our Maintenance Staff so that they can quickly resolve the issue. Work orders can be placed through the My Mckinley Portal. Please call me if you have any other questions 813-304-2776!

As a reminder, a $100 late fee will be billed on the 3rd of the month for all accounts with a balance due. If you have not done so already, please submit your payment online via my.mckinley.com. The washers have been down since Tuesday night, and the trash hasn’t been picked up since last weekend. It’s absolutely disgusting.

Hello Kate, 

Thank you for the update. With the Holiday's running into each other the communities needed a bit of picking up upon our return. The property should be looking much better today and we just checked on the washer/dryers as well. All are up and running excluding two machines which we have called and entered a service request in for. I apologize for the delay and thank you for the feedback.
