Last Day to Pay Rent!

Dear Residents,

Today is the last day to pay rent without a late fee!

As a reminder, a $100 late fee will be billed on the 3rd of the month for all accounts with a balance due. If you have not done so already please submit your payment online via my.mckinley or bring your payment by the leasing office at Schoolhouse Flats. If you are in need of an extension you must request one in writing as soon as possible. Please send your request directly to me via email at aja.henry@mckinley.com , I am here to help!

Reminder! Rent is Due!

Dear Residents,

This is just a friendly reminder that rent is due on the 1st of the month and considered late on the 3rd. On the 3rd all accounts that have a balance due will be charged a late fee of $100 and an additional late fee of $50 is charged on the 10th of the month.

Hillsborough County Opens 3 Sandbag Sites

Announcement for Multiple Communities

To help residents prepare for the possibility of flooding associated with the pending storm, Hillsborough County is making sandbags available to the public at three County parks.

Beginning Thursday, Aug. 29, sandbags will be available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily at the following locations:

Edward Medard Conservation Park – 6140 Turkey Creek Road, Plant City E.G. Simmons Conservation Park, 2401 19th Ave. NW, Ruskin Ed Radice Park, 14720 Ed Radice Drive, Tampa

Hillsborough County residents are eligible for a maximum of 10 sandbags per family. Residents must show ID verifying...

As you know we are keeping a close eye on Hurricane Dorian and we at McKinley wanted to take a moment to remind everyone of the importance of being prepared for anything that comes our way. Review the important points below:

The best way to stay informed is to sign up for my.mckinley.com. If you need your “Resident ID” please contact the Schoolhouse Flats Office at (813) 304-2776.

September Statements and Prorated Rent

Dear Residents,

Many of you have received your September billing statements. For the residents that have lease expirations in September and will be moving out, these statements will not reflect the pro-rated rent amount that will be due on September 1st.

Additionally, our system is not able to prorate rent until after the move-out has been processed. If you have auto-pay setup for the month of September, it is highly recommended that you cancel your auto payment as it will not prorate your rent and the full rent balance due reflected on the account will be drafted. Tired of the Managment NOT enforcing their law

Feedback Problem for Estancia Flats

I have reported on several occasions of my neighbor smoking inside our tiny apartment building, cigarettes and weed. It makes me sick and I don't want to smell it! If you claim that your properties are "smoke free" environments then why don't you enforce it!? This is the worst management I've ever experienced. You'll tow our cars for not having permit stickers when there are four cars and only two spaces, but you could care less about our personal health and welfare...

Good Morning McKinley Hyde Park Residents,

We hope you all are doing well. I would like to take a moment to remind everyone of our rent payment policy stated in your lease agreement. Rent is due on the 1st of every month. You have until midnight on the second to submit your payment. Any payments received after midnight are considered late. A $100 late charge will be charged to your account on the 3 rd day of the month, and a $50 on the 10 th day of the month. Personal checks will not be accepted after the 2 nd . This is an EXTREME and stressful rule. I can understand a fee if you are extremely late, but there should be some kind of grace period of a couple days. I paid by the 3rd this month because of the way I'm paid, only on Fridays, and this fee is high in correlation with what we already pay for rent every month. I'm a single mom, life is stressful enough, without having a hundred dollar fine on top of everything else we already are responsible for.
