Feedback Problem for Medical Center Court

I live on the first (basement) floor of my building and there is a constant, rapid banging in the ceiling. Not something caused by the residents above, but what seems to be an issue with pipes that run under their floor and above my ceiling.

After a little "googling," it seems the tapping is caused by the water pipes in the ceiling. The banging is either caused by air in the lines or the pipes are inadequately secured.

Does anyone else have this problem? Is there something maintenance can do to solve this? If it happened occasionally, I could deal with it; but this is happening more often than not. Day, night, afternoon. Five minutes here, ten minutes there. It's driving me insane.

HELP!

Hi Matthew,

Thank you for bringing this to my attention and I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. I will have our maintenance team go over to your apartment to investigate the noise and see what needs to be done to fix the issue. If you have any questions, please let me know. Have a wonderful day!

Best regards,
