Parking lot lights

Feedback Problem for The Villas

This is the 3rd time I’m submitting a request this year, but the parking lot lights by the recycle bin are out again. And being that the spaces by the buildings are nearly always impossible to find parking in, I feel unsafe walking in the dark.

I apologize for the lights not being repaired. I understand your frustration with not having enought light in the parking lot. We had our electrician stop by yesterday to inspect the lights. They will return on Saturday (weather permitting) to repair the light once they receive the part needed. We hope this is a permanent resolution to your concern.

Parking

Feedback Problem for The Villas

There are several people parking in front of fire hydrants, cross hatched non-parking areas, and double parking blocking other cars from leaving. Cars parked in front of hydrants not only block access to the fire department but also block pedestrians from easily getting to the sidewalks. The double parking is an obvious issue too. I park far away from my apartment sometimes just to park in a proper spot. Others can too. Is there a way to start towing vehicles that are parked in restricted areas in the evening?

Thank you so much for using My.Mckinley to report a problem in our community. We really appreciate everyone's eyes and ears to know if there are areas of concern in the community. Maintenance did tag several cars today with a courtesy tag giving 24 hours to move the vehicles. You can also call Great Lakes Security after office hours and give them a description of the vehicle and they can tag them as well. Their number is 844-475-2537. Please let me know if there is anything else that we can help with and we will keep an eye on this area for parking violations.

Boilers Off -- Leak Repair

Good Morning Residents,

I hope your day is off to a good start. We are sending out this notice regarding a repair we are addressing in the building. This morning around 9AM a resident in the builidng reported that the heat register in their home was leaking. In order for the leak to be repaired the boilers had to be be turned off. We have contractors on their way out to repair the leak.

Even though the boilers are off, there should be plenty of heat remaining in the boiler lines to keep your home warm for a few hours. Once the repair is completed the boilers will be turned...

Heat Update

Our contractors informed us this evening that they had an issue with one of the pumps while replacing the boilers and unfortunately cannot get a new part to replace it until the morning. Once that part has been replaced, the boilers will be up and running and heat will be restored to your building, We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience!

Noise complaints

What do we do about noise complaints when the office is not open? I’m in building 9 and it’s 12:30am. Someone in one of these apartments is blasting music so loud I can hear it clearly in my apartment with the tv on. This happens constantly. Someone is just blasting super loud bass and I can hear all the lyrics through the walls.

Thank you for using My.Mckinley to report a problem in your building. For After Hours Noise Complaints, we use Great Lakes Security. Their phone number to the dispatcher is (844) 475-2537. You can always call the police if there is an emergency at 911 but the Police Non-Emergency number is(734) 483-9510 and press option 3. Please contact the office and let us know in writing if you are having a repeat noise concern. You can be anonymous and we will reach out to the resident and work to get the issue resolved.

Bldg 7 WASHERS * CLEAN-UP

Feedback Problem for The Villas

The washers/dryers have cost me $11.20 in the last 2 weeks. I have called them. Soon as one is fixed another goes out. The hallways look terrible! Haven't been vaccumed in a week or more! The stairway to bldg 7 has not been cleaned i know in last wk because same vitamin bottle on stairs along with trash has traveled from inside the main door to outside within that time. The laundry room is terrible! Spilled detergent all over floor. I hate to think and imagine this place that i enjoy living at is going down hill...

Office opening at noon today

Good morning, Residents!

Due to the freezing rain this morning, our office hours today are 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Please be careful as you are out walking today; the pathways and roads may be slippery due to the ice. Our maintenance team did come in early today to salt and shovel the community.
