windows and heat?

Feedback Idea for The Villas

Hey, do you think you guys could send out a reminder to residents to help keep the gas cost low and turn off heat when they open their windows on nicer days. Ive noticed my heat bill the past few years has been high during months where its 50-60 degrees! YIKES!

Gas bill for last month was $60 and I think we only had the heat on for the first week at most. Still have not seen a notice to remind residents to turn off there heat if the are going to open up there windows. Maybe the gas bill should not be a community bill any more seeing as how this is an on going problem.

I will most definitely get out a letter to your building this week. You should see your gas bill decrease as the spring and summer months arrive. We will get some information out in the Fall about the heat and how we as a community can save on the gas bills.

South Parking Lot

Feedback Problem for The Villas

The Gate for the south lot seems to always be broke. I have lived here for 1 year and 6 months and it has maybe been down and working for about 1/3 of that time. It is currently working but I'm wondering why it's always broken and what solution McKinley has. It is the only entrance in the area that seems to be broken, and on several occasions I have almost run into someone exiting through the entrance!?! I only bring this up as more of a safety concern than anything and I'm not sure if the leasing office is aware of how often it is broken...

We are aware of the south Parking lot gate arm and we are concerned as well.
What is happening is there seems to be residents manually raising the gate arm, which in turn, breaks it.
We try to repair it as soon as we can.

I would invite any resident that sees someone lifting the gate arm and breaking it, to report it to the office so that we can take care of the violators. If we all work as a commmunity I can get issues taken care of.

That's a great question! Your account will update and show the following month's payment details 1-3 days before the end of the month. For the month of March, your account should be updated on the 30th.
