Recycling Bin Location!

Dear Residents,I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who voiced their interest in adding recycling to the list of Villa's amenities. We have had a full recycle bin each week! It is great to see how much everyone cares about our environment as well as the Villas. For those residents that may not be aware, our recycle bin is located in front of the large trash compactor just to the left of the leasing office. BEE

Feedback Problem for The Villas

We have had bees coming into our apartment for 2 weeks, we called last sunday and supposedly they came out Monday to spray the nest in the stone facade outside. They are still there a week later and manage to get inside!!! We are not talking about one or two bees, 20-30 in the last two weeks, this is very upsetting, how can we live like this?

I am so sorry to hear that you were having trouble with bees. Lance did a full inspection of the area, was able to locate the nest & exterminate it. At any time please feel free to contact me. Car Break Ins

We have noticed a very fast increase in car broken windows on cars in the South Lot, is this becoming a problem? If so what solution is being proposed?

Front gates

Feedback Problem for The Villas

At approximately 7:50 pm I called McKinley loss prevention to make sure they were aware that there was not a gate attendant on duty. I was then told by a lady ( she did not identify herself ) that loss prevention was aware that the gates were unattended because the person who is normally attending the gates was sick. I then asked if McKinley had any intentions of staffing the gates tonight and she said “probably not, if so it will be a lot later”. I then reiterated that the security features such, as the gates, were some of the main reasons my wife and I chose the Villas. All she had to say...

Thank you for your feedback. I am so sorry this has happened again. I have addressed this issue again with John Turpin, LPS Director, and he put on-call back up plans into place so that we can avoid this situation. A back up gate monitor was in place last night. He is retraining the procedures with his team members. I apologize the team did not follow the procedures and appreciate you letting us know.

Thank you for your feedback. I am very sorry that this happened again. Back up procedures have been implemented and the procedures will be re-enforced with additional training, the retraining will include proper procedures in answering and relaying information over the phone.

The gate was staffed after 10 PM last night; the lapse in coverage is unacceptable and should not happen again.

I have meet with Great Lakes Laundry to review the location for the credit/debit laundry card loading machine.
They have approved the location of the machine. Now they will start working on the plans for the wiring and box size. Once Great Lakes get's us the plans we will be able to review them and proceed from there.

Feedback Problem for The Villas

I have had a problem getting my mailbox fixed for the past month and a half. Between calling the post office and the leasing office I spent a lot of time trying to just get my mail. I am unhappy with the wait on a new mailbox and the lack of information regarding when this issue would be resolved. I'm a good tenant who pays rent on time and I feel that the "Villas" are not holding up their end of the leasing agreement...

Kristen,
I am very upset about how this has been handled. About a month ago you told me I would have a new mailbox and it was taking so long because they were on backorder. Now you tell me I don't need a new mailbox and it has been fixed. Why did this take 2 months to be resolved if I didn't even get a new mailbox. This makes me think that you lied about ordering the mailboxes in the first place. This should have been corrected as soon as I called the first time. It was an inconvience for me to constantly call you and the post office every day and all you could tell me was to be patient. Now its fixed in one day?????? Why wasn't this done earlier? And my mailbox is still in the same condition so what was done to it? Oh and another thing why is the mail carrier contacting me and trying to get this fixed when it's your job.

Terri, my mailbox does work better but the issue I have is how long it took to fix. Its the same mailbox so why did it take so long? I'm glad I can get my mail now, that's for sure, but what is so frustrating is how involved I had to be in this whole thing when I'm not the one who could fix it.

Why was an egg thrown at my door? Why is this property going south fast?

I am so sorry someone threw an egg at your door. I do not know why someone would do this. I will discuss this with team and have them keep an eye out for people possibly egging doors or loitering. We will continue to work with residents such as yourself to identify and remove any problem residents or guests of residents from the property.
