Winter Weather Advisory

Good Morning:

I am writing to inform all of you that Washtenaw County was under a Winter Weather Advisory, which was in effect until 8 AM this morning. Our maintenance team arrived at 6:00 AM to salt sidewalks and building entrances. We are working diligently to get this done as soon as possible for you.

Our office will be opened from 10 AM to 6 PM today, so please let me know if you need anything at all. Be very careful when exiting buildings and while walking outside; even with the salt, the pathways are still very slippery! Be safe and stay warm!

Due to a pipe in Building B needing immediate repair, we have had to temporarily had to shut the water off to the building. We are working quickly with our contractors to repair the problem!

Our maintenance team is diligently working to get this repaired and have contacted our contractor to work on getting the heat restored as soon as possible. How do we link our phone number to the intercom to buzz our guest in?

This is a great question! To link the digital buzzer to your cell phone, you can call the office or put in a work order with the phone number you would like to use and maintenance can program it for you! Only one phone number can be programmed per apartment. If your phone number changes, just let the office know and we can make the change.

Garbage in the hallways

Feedback Problem for The Villas

Over the past month I'm consistently coming home to find the hallway smelling horrible due to neighbors sitting their trash outside of their door instead of taking it to the dumpster. Can some announcement be made addressing this? I understand these are affordable apartments but please take some pride in where you live. And also if you drop some food or cups etc in the hallway you should pick up after yourselves...

Thank you so much for reporting this problem. It is very important to us that the residents help to be our eyes and ears throughout the community so we really appreciate when you let us know what we can help with!

I have contacted the resident responsible for the trash and they have assured me that it will be moved right away. We agree that we want our residents to take pride and care in the place that they live. We do expect that our residents are taking care of their apartments, picking up after their pets and being courteous about trash in the common areas. Thank you so much for allowing us to help with this issue and feel free to let us know if there is anything else that we can help with.
