PayLease Scheduled Maintenance

Good Morning Schooer Cove Residents,

PayLease is scheduled to have maintenance performed on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM Sunday morning. During this time, the PayLease website and payment portal will be down and residents will be unable to make a payment. Once the maintenance is completed, the website will resume as normal. 8775 building buzzer/security system down

Feedback Problem for Schooner Cove

The buzzer for building 8775 has been out for the past 2 days. It seems the entire housing system is loose as if someone attempted to pull it off or maintenance never finished a project. I am not sure if it is an electrical problem as the hall lights are out in the building as well. It would be much appreciated if this issue is fixed for the security and safety of all the residents at 8775. Thanks

Feedback Problem for Schooner Cove

I cannot even begin to tell you how upset and angry I am about the way the leak in my ceiling was handled. The first time I called it was a very small spot on the ceiling. The maintenance person stated that it was overflow from the ac unit and that he had fixed it. I had to call again a week later for someone to come in and clean the mildew from my carpet. He then painted my ceiling while I was at work, covering everything in the room with paint splatters. If I had known he was coming, I would have at least put down a tarp. Hello folks, I'm a new resident that is slowly moving into my apartment. I choose you folks because of the non-smoking focus because I am allergic to marijuana. Last night I came home to find the main hallway reeking of pot around 6pm, and again when I returned at about midnight when it was even worse. I suspect the individual doing this may be doing it in the evening when McKinley staff leave. The handle to the main entrance is loose and may pose a safety hazard, especially with regard to accessibility for and elderly person I saw struggling with it. We have a problem with thick smoke, as well. It's mainly from cigarette smoke and is most prevalent in the hallways of our building. This occurs after the office is closed. At times I can't even open the door without the smoke bellowing in. I've called the office to report this, but was told that there was nothing they could do. Being an ex-cigarette smoker, I understand the dilemma that the smokers are in, yet, the amount of offenive smoke in the evening and later is unacceptable. One of the reason I quit cigarettes is to remove the cigarette smell and taste from my life. Now these have returned and I'm powerless to change any of it. Why have a an apartment rule of no smoking if there is no way to enforce it?

City Code Inspections

Okay, just got the notice about city code inspections. Can a city code inspector come into your apartment home without your consent? Who are these people that will be in and out of our bedrooms and bathrooms? Do we have something in writing about it being okay for the Township of Ypsilanti employees to trace in and out of our apartment homes? This is not okay. Another thing, who is the person that is named at the bottom of the page, Linda Wells and what is Michigan Portfolio?
