Feedback Problem for Schooner Cove

I have never been late for rent the months that I have lived here. I wonder, what am I paying for? I ask that because besides my previous critiques, now I wake up to no hot water. Is this what McKinley is proud of? Hard working people who pay their rent in their lease on time, to keep having hot water be an issue? For walls that have the bare minimum paint and closet borders that chip because the paint is so cheap? I might as well find an apartment that costs the 100/200 less because this is the same quality. I find it ridiculous, I look past the trash outside of trash bins. The parking...

Besides the issue with not being able to park because of the park next to my buliding. And cars being broken into with doors locked. Most uncomfortable experience I have had in a while.

Hi Shanelle, Thank you so much for taking the time talk with me earlier this morning.  I appreciated our conversation and the insight you provided to some issues you've been experiencing, which will be addressed with importance and as a priority. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience you have experienced this week with water temperatures.  The pilot on the hot water heater tripped again this morning.  It's been reset and hot water has been restored to the building but as a precaution, we are having a contractor out to review the situation to ensure no further attention is required, in an effort to prevent this from recurring going forward.  We value your residency and appreciate your choice to make Schooner Cove your home.  As always, please don't hesitate to call if you should need anything.  We're here for you and happy to help.  Have a wonderful rest of your day!  Linda Wells, Community Manager

Power Washing

Feedback Question for Schooner Cove

Hello, we received a notice in the middle of last week saying that our building was going to receive power washing. However, it has still not been washed. We would like to know if this is still going to happen since we were instructed to keep our windows closed until it has been finished. Thank you, Rachel and Andrew

Hi, thank you for reaching out and for your patience, while we have battled some inclement weather and equipment issues.  I'm pleased to let you know the following buildings are scheduled for completion on Tuesday, June 4th:

#5020, #5030, #5040, #5050, #5070 & #5078

Additionally, the remaining portion of Building #5000 is also scheduled for completion tomorrow.

I wanted to send out a friendly reminder that rent payments are due tomorrow, June 1st, 2019. Rent must be received by 11:59p on June 2, 2019, to avoid the first late fee of $30.

Please see below for the multiple convenient options that you have as a resident to make your rent payment each month:

1) Check or Money Order brought to the office
Hours- Monday-Friday 10 am - 6 pm
Saturday 10 am - 2 pm

I've lived here since 2006 and I've seen many managers come and go. A few stand out for their work excellence. Haleigh Crouch is one of them. She has always taken my concerns seriously and is quick to act if needed. I've been able to reach her easily by both phone and email. I feel her respect and true concern towards me whenever I have contact with her. She is definitely a keeper that I hope can stay with us for a long time to come...

re: apartment building security

Feedback Question for Schooner Cove

Although there hasn't been robberies or personal injury in my building other negative activities has occurred. Doors are propped open, garbage is thrown into the yard and parking lot, residents screaming at each other on the steps, and most recently, graffiti has defiled our sidewalk. This does not include the many vehicular crimes. Could McKinley purchase a security camera of some sort to monitor the porch and as much of the immediate vicinity as possible. One that would also cover the parking lots would be best. Schooner Cove has one of the highest crime rates compared to other...
