Could you be so kind and send a reminder out about loud noise disturbing neighbors especially seniors? It would be greatly appreciated guest and residents includes cars and inside units.

Gate Key Not Working.

Hello. My gate key wasn't working. I reported it to the Gate Keeper, he took my info and card# down and said he'd get it fixed. I was wondering if it was fixed? I haven't tried using it in a week. I'll try it soon, figured to ask. Thank You in advance...

I am glad that you were able to notify the gate attendent about your card not working. As long as he put down the information then all of the gate cards get re-entered the next day! Your card should be active, if it is not however, please contact me directly and I will make sure to swap out your card or reprogram it as well.

Garbage

I see we got a bill today for $50 saying that we had trash on the porch on the day of 11/11/14, I don't know how trash was on the porch when we wasn't at home. We were at Children's Hospital with our daughter that day because she had to have surgery. This property is just trying to rip people off and get money anyway they can. This is the reason why we are moving!...

I am saddened to hear about the issue with your trash notice, and also hoping that your daughter is making a full recovery. If you have the time to come into my office I would be glad to sit and further discuss with you the issue at hand. Of course here at McKinley we want to make sure that all surroundings areas are clear and clean from anything including trash. However, if there was an error on our behalf regarding the trash violation I would be happy to correct it for you !

Heat

Feedback Problem for The Courtyards

I know we don't have control but the. heat is on very high and my whole family is either sick or waking up with. bloody noses. I. have been keeping Windows open during the day but it's too cold out at night to keep them open. I have our little thing turned all the way down. but this is becoming a big problem. we can't get sick and miss work and be late paying rent because of the heat. if. other residents are cold they can wear sweaters during the day...

Hello Suzanne,

I was very upset to hear that the temperature of the heat has been affecting your unit and any health issues that are related to it. I can tell you that we are currently working with a company with is inspecting our boiler systems to ensure that everything is up to code and heat is working properly. On top of those inspections and possible work being done I will be happy to send maintenance to your unit to see if there is any other troubleshooting we can do to resolve this issue. They will be coming to our house tomorrow morning at 10 am. Pleas let me know if you have any other issues as I would be glad to help !

For some reason theres a nasty smell in my house spraying air freshener in its not working this is not the first time i smelled this in my house something needs to be done this smell is makeing me sick.the smell always comes from my kitchen closest in under my sink.

No HEAT

Feedback Question for The Courtyards

Just wondering if you guys ever replaced the boiler in building 14 because this past winter was BRUTALLY COLD and we were without heat the better part of the season. Is it fixed or do we have to wait until temps drop to find out? I cant say that I'm willing to be put through the ringer like you did us last year...

Crickets in my home!!!!!

Feedback Problem for The Courtyards

I am not sure how they're getting in but on 2 different occasions there's been crickets in my home. The first cricket was on my blinds in the master room (Tuesday) and the second one was last nite (Sunday, September 21, 2014) in my daughter's room on her window ceil who is only 6! I'm guessing the windows but I need this to not become an issue here!...

Hello Cindy, the maintenance order reads complete and close status however, nothing was done in my home. Usually when they enter they'll leave a maintenance order letting me know they were here. Also, tonight around 11:00pm (September 24, 2014) I noticed another cricket trying to enter thru my window. I just so happened to go to my daughter's room and saw another one on her window screen! This is getting out of hand! We need new screens that FIT each window with NO opened crevices and maybe some sorta extermination around my lawn! We've been living here a little over a year and never had this issue! I pay a lot of money here to live comfortably. I don't wanna go to bed afraid that me or my child will wake up with bugs on our bodies etc. I have a video and pictures. I've uploaded the photos to the maintenance request. Please see that this issue is fixed properly!
