Ms. Citchen,

Respectfully, that is not what transpired. Per your request, our Sales Agent was showing you where  in the Resident Handbook it states that you cannot leave trash on your porch. I could hear your chose of words and level of volume from my office located in the back of the Leasing Office. 

When I came up front, you were standing over the Sales desk yelling at the agent while shaking the paper in hand. I tried to calm the situation down; even saying that it is not what you are saying but how you are saying it. I also said, "We can get much further with this if we can address this in a calmer tone."  Unfortunately you otped to continue to yell, now both at the Sales Agent and myself so I requested you leave the office. 

We have a strict policy that no nusiance shall be permitted on the community property and may not interfere with the ability of the employees. Myself and staff are here to assist with your questions, comments and concerns but we are not here to be belittered or yelled at. When you moved in, we had a similar issue with the trash can and this policy was discussed in depth. 

I encourage you to take the evening to collect your thoughts and I am more than willing to have a civil conversation tomorrow if you'd like. Otherwise, you are welcome to call the Regional Office at 734-941-6234.

Lease termination

Feedback Question for The Courtyards

My lease is being terminated because of legal fees being filed against me. I had told both CAO also the courtyards that I was on a medical leave of absence waiting on short term disability. Had my pipes in the kitchen burst even though I was unable to be in my home because of the heat not properly working as well as not being able to use my kitchen. My lease is being terminated for something that was simply beyond my control how can I get pay income based rent if I don’t have an income. I feel that those times should be excused under the circumstances. Is there anyone I could speak with to...

Happy Friday, Courtyards & Springs Residents!

Just a friendly reminder that rent is due no later than Saturday, June 1, 2019! Late fees are added every 2nd and 7th of the month. The office WILL be open from 10 am until 4 pm on the 1st, so come by and say hello to me! You are also able to place your rent in the drop box if you are unable to make it up during business hours. If you would like to start paying online but do not know how, or you have any questions about your account, contact the office for assistance at 734-941-5679!

Morning Cody,

Thank you for bringing this to my attention and I apologize on behalf of the inconsiderate resident/guest that is not complying with the rules and regulations. 

I am going to forward this information to the Loss Prevention Regional Director. Our Loss Prevention Team is here from 5:00pm-2:00am and can be reached at 734-891-2088. Even if you are not sure which car it is, I encourage you to contact their department when the noise level is excessive and a Supervisor will gladly take care of the situation. 

Certainly if the noise is excessive during the day, please contact the office at 734-941-5679 and I will address the situation headon. In the meantime, I will ask the Loss Prevention Director to notify his team so they can make more rounds in this area during the evening.

Thank you again and please do not hesitate to contact us at anytime regarding situations such as these or any aspect of your residency here as a valued Resident at The Couryards!
