State Street is a Non-Smoking Community

Announcement for State Street Village

Residents of State Street Village,

I hope everyone has had a wonderful week and stayed safe and warm through those crazy snow and ice days we had!

I want to take a moment to remind everyone that State Street Village is strictly a non-smoking community. This includes not only cigarettes but marijuana as well. Even though the State passed the law to legalize recreational use, we continue to enforce our non-smoking policy.

If you suspect smoking of any kind in apartments, common areas or on the property, please reach out to the Office immediately so we can take action...

Snow Update

Announcement for State Street Village

Residents of State Street Village,

While the snow commenced later than anticipated and allowed for an easier than expected commute into work, the same does not hold true for the commute home. Please plan extra time and drive safely!

At present, the heaviest snowfall is forecasted to occur between noon and 3 p.m. today, with precipitation continuing into the evening hours although at a much lighter pace. Our snow removal contractor is planning to be on site at 3pm to do a pass through of walks and drive and then again when the snow finally stops.

Please stay safe and...

Deep Freeze Advisory

Announcement for State Street Village

Residents of State Street Village,

The coming days will bring below freezing temperatures, all the way down to -11 degrees on Tuesday night. Brrrr! We will need your help to avoid potentially major issues that can come with cold temperatures.

When the temperature takes a nose-dive to 10 degrees above zero, or colder, you can help prevent frozen water pipes and breakage of water lines by doing the following:

Open all water faucets in your apartment to a steady stream of 1/8 inch or less, but not a drip . This helps to keep water moving through the lines and decreases...

Mail Box Package box #2

Feedback Problem for State Street Village

I received a key in my mailbox to package box #2 to retrieve a package delivered to me. I have double checked that I am unlocking the correct box several times and have attempted many times to open the package box without success (the lock won't spin to the open position). I am unsure if the lock is frozen, needs WD40, or if the package is somehow up against the lock prohibiting it from spinning. I have the key to the package box in my apartment, any guidance would be helpful, I am not sure if you can help me or if i need to contact the US Postal Service...

Thank you for taking the time to pose this question on my.mckinley. I am sorry to hear you experiencing this issue, I can only imagine how frustrating it is! Unfortunately, the USPS services the postal boxes and deals with all issues concerning it. I have contacted the USPS on your behalf to submit a work order....I will keep you posted!
