Good morning, Residents of Spruce Knob!
Due to the rain this morning, and the temperature fluctuating around freezing, some areas throughout the community have become icy. Our team is aware and will be spot-treating the community with salt to help add some traction to those areas. Please be extra cautious as you leave your homes this morning.
Should you notice any areas that need attention, please reach out to me directly so we can address it as soon as possible.

Dear Residents of Spruce Knob,
In order to provide a clean and healthier environment for our residents, employees, and guests, we are a designated smoke free community . The smoke free policy covers all individual apartments, common areas, and outdoor areas. All residents, as well as their guests, all employees, and vendors are required to follow this policy.
It has been recently brought to our attention that this policy is not being exercised by some residents and their guests while visiting the community.
We take great pride in providing you with a clean and safe...

Our maintenance team will be arriving within the next 2 hours to begin clearing and salting all the walkways for our community.

As we head into the weekend, Winter Storm Jacob is expected to make a large impact on us here in Ann Arbor.
We expect to see snow this evening, mainly after 10pm. By early Saturday morning, we will start to see a snow/sleet mix until early afternoon, followed by rain, which is all expected to freeze as temperatures drop as we get into Saturday evening. Total snow/sleet accumulation is expected to be between 7 and 9 inches. Along with this storm is also the potential for strong wind gusts.
I wanted to reach out as there was a cat roaming the hallway in your building this morning. We do not have any record of a cat residing in a home here, and wanted to remind you that any animal should be registered with the office, and also abide by our animal policy here at Spruce Knob. All animals are required to be on a leash if outside their home. This is for the safety of your animal as well as other residents in the community.
I also wanted to make sure that the cat found it's home, and if you have any information for me that would be...

Residents of Spruce Knob,
We have certainly seen the full spectrum of weather this weekend! The colder than expected low temperatures last night turned the rain to snow, with a layer of ice in-between. We salted the property this morning and the sun assisted us in melting away the thin layer of snow and the ice below.
Please keep in mind, however, that the temperatures are expected to fall tonight into the low 20's which could result in freezing the melted snow and ice from the day. This means that in the areas that did not fully dry out today there could be areas of ice....
