Feedback Question for Glencoe Hills

Dear Amy,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have had the contractor responsible for repairing the fitness equipment to the site to repair the recumbent bike. It should be up and running hopefully within the next week. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please let us know if you notice any other equipment that needs to be serviced.

Sincerely,
Michelle Miranda

Snow removal

Feedback Problem for Glencoe Hills

Just wondering why all the snow was not removed from all of the sidewalks today. I'm talking about the court yard side of buildings 2112, 2108 and 2104. It has been quite a challenge getting to and from my apartment building. Not to mention the risk of slips and falls due to poorly maintained sidewalks. -Thanks...

Hi Sheri,

The reason that the snow was not removed from the courtyard area side walks on Monday evening was because the equipment used for the snow removal had a part break off. Our maintenance supervisor was able to find the part and repair the tractor on Tuesday morning. The court yard sidewalks to your building were plowed by 6:00AM today. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you during the snow storm.

Please feel free to contact me by phone at 734-971-5455 or email at bbarrett@mckinleyc.om .

Hi Diane,

I would like to personally thank you for bringing this to our attention. I do take the lighting throughout the community very seriously and will always consider this a priority and maintenance emergency. I have made contact with Tom, our on call maintenance technician, and he explained to me that he was able to restore lights to the carports and hallways in your building. I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule to assist Tom with the process of restoring the carport and hallway lights in your building.

Thank you for being a great neighbor at Glencoe Hills Apartment Homes!

Dear Craig,

Thank you for letting us know that your building door isn't sealing properly, and I apologize that it has not been fixed yet especially since it warmed up today and there is a lot of water dripping down the buildings. I have submitted a service request on-line for maintenance to address first thing tomorrow morning. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Sincerely,
Michelle

I looked at this problem last week & decided it was not the seal at the top of the new doors but a prblem at the roof and drip edge areas. I will have a contractor look at this problem. I was there this morning and all was dry Gary Thayer Maint,

I'm trying to figure out the maintenance deal. I had a work request in for water running in from the front door that now is in my apartment. I moved my computer to a new location, so as not to get wet. I waited for maintenance, the came by and looked, I was told it was a problem with the roof, and flashing needed to be replaced. Betsy confirmed this would be done. Why is the work order closed out saying "completed to tenant satisfaction", and Work Order closed. This also happened when I had a work order in for painting in the bathroom(now done), saying I never called to schedule, somebody had taken a message for Clint. There are various problems I have fixed myself, because I can't always take time off work. The water problem is going on 2 months now, Michelle put the last work order in for this problem. Is there a concession offered when I live on the ground floor, and have water coming into my apartment because of a roof problem? Ice dams on the roof should not be my problem. Besides, somebody is going to get hurt because of thick ice on the entry landing. At times this is 3 or 4 inches thick.
Thank You,
Craig Zacharias
P.S. Michelle, when I spoke with you I had already spoken to maintenance twice about the water problem, you had advised me to put in a work order for now on.
