Parking is going to be horrible

Feedback Problem for Glencoe Hills

It is so stupid that you decided to repave all these portions at once. By not finishing the portion on the west side of the complex, forcing all those cars to park elsewhere, then deciding to repave the east side of the complex at the same time is the dumbest thing you could of done. There is no reason what so ever that anyone should have to park a half a mile away from their home and walk just because some one made such a stupid decision. What if somebody gets home late in the evening? This hasn't been known to be the safest place in the world at times. What about people that may be...

Diane Steeg's picture

Dear nooggets2000,
I first want to appologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. It is our intention to make the repaving of the lots go as smoothly and as quickly as possible. I do recall it being discussed as to which lot should be done first. But I don't know the specifics of that decision. I do know that the reason for that discussion was so we could have the least inconvenience to our residents. The weather also will have an effect on this. Weather permitting, the lots will continue to be paved and completed as soon as possible.
I do appreciate your patience in the maintenance to the parking lots. And again, I appologize for any inconveinience it may cause you. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if I can be of further assistance.
Sincerely,
Diane Steeg

Feedback Idea for Glencoe Hills

You should have a public email address or private online contact form. The current system appears to require the feedback submission in a public forum. This way when people are sick or without phone access, they can have a means of contacting the office with specific problems and maintenance requests.

Amy,

I'm glad you asked! We're actually in the process of creating an online work order system that should solve this problem.

We expect to launch it before the end of the year, so stay tuned!

Most Sincerely,
James Vuong

Big piles of Dried Dirt

Feedback Question for Glencoe Hills

When are these big piles of dried dirt going away? They are rough to walk on, and look terrible, they have been there since somewhere around July???!!!! I am tired of looking at it! Comcast or ATT whoever shouldnt have left it so bad! Oh and the large piece of plywood can leave at anytime too...I am shocked someone hasnt tried to use it to prop the main door open yet!

I'm trying to get an answer about that from AT&T. They contracted a subcontractor to do the work & were unaware that it wasn't complete. They have been giving me the runaround but I have a new contact person & will persue it untill work gets done. Sorry for the delay.

Hello Diane,

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with your carport roof. I have a couple of solutions that I can provide you with regarding your carport space. I will have the maintenance supervisor go over and take a look at the roof and make the necessary repair. I can also offer you a different carport space if you would like to move spots. Please give me a call 734-971-5455 or send me a email at
bbarrett@mckinley.com if you would like to move your carport space. Thank you for bringing your concern to my attention and I will follow up with you after the repair has been completed.

Enjoy your day.

Betsy, I saw Jason out there when I went outside, and spoke with him, he believes its where the screws are and is sending out the people to look at it. And thanks for offering a different carport, but the only other ones by us are $20 and I cant afford that for 2 cars! I just hope we get it fixed quickly!

Hi Diane,

I will have one of my maintenance Team Members come over today and seal the screw heads up with a silicone caulk. This should take care of the leaking for you. If you should notice that this does not stop the leaking, please let me know.

Have a Great Day,

Gary Thayer
Maintenance Supervisor
