Deep Freeze Advisory

Announcement for Multiple Communities

Residents of Glencoe Hills and Glencoe Oaks,

When the temperature takes a nose-dive to 10 degrees above zero, or colder, you can help prevent frozen water pipes and breakage of water lines by doing the following:

Open all water faucets in your apartment to a steady stream of 1/8 inch or less, but not a drip . This helps to keep water moving through the lines and...

Good morning dear residents,

Washtenaw County has Another Winter Weather Advisory, which is in effect until 8 am this morning. Our maintenance team arrived at 5 am to salt sidewalks and building entrances. We are working diligently to get this done as soon as possible for you.

It was pure ice on the sidewalks and parking lot at 8:30 AM. I literally slide down a minor sidewalk slope.

There was no attempt to salt the sidewalks or parking lot for buildings 2152 and 2156. All day and all night it was dangerous to walk to the cars. I'm not sure what maintenance was doing, but they were NOT salting sidewalks or parking lots.

Any plan to treat parking lot for 2265? It's a complete sheet of ice.
