Dog Issues

Feedback Problem for Evergreen

Building 6 has been having a lot of issues with dogs and owners and feces. We consistently run out of bags to collect dog excrement, and currently the basket to collect the bags has been overflowing and full for over two weeks now. There are over 40 individual piles of dog feces all behind the building. Combined with the full basket of dog shit, this is really disgusting. Owners here are just letting their dogs shit on the concrete steps of the front door of the building. I know you posted a note on everyone's doors about enforcing cleanup, but I have yet to see this make any difference...

I will be having maintenance out and they will be leaving notices to everyone in your building regarding the guidelines of having a pet with us here at Evergreen Apartments. It's a persistent issue and has been for months. I've also encountered dog urine on the staircases on multiple instances.

As you all know, we experienced a mix of snow followed by freezing rain and ice last night into this morning which has caused the roadways and the walkway conditions to be slippery. We wanted to remind you to please use extreme caution when entering and exiting your homes and cars this morning.

Where's the hot water? Anyone else get a RUBS bill over $90 due this month?

Feedback Question for Evergreen

I attempted to steam my grandson to help with his congestion. The "hot" water was lukewarm at best. I've seen other posts about buildings not having hot water, but it is becoming a common occurrence lately. I was told shortly upon move in that the RUBS charge was based upon the building tenant's usage of utilities. However, my RUBS charge due for Feb was over $90, despite half the usage of the water. Anyone else get a bill for RUBS bill $90 due Feb?...

Laundry room in building 1 in constant disrepair

Feedback Problem for Evergreen

The laundry room in building one has continuously had problems with one or more machines malfunctioning. Currently, only one of the dryers is working. When you insert money in the other two machines it does not register and you have to push for a refund. In this cold, the last thing i want to do is lug laundry to a laundry mat. Please help! Thanks!

I am sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing in your laundry room. I will put a work request with CoinMach who does the servicing of the machines. They are normally out within a day to complete the repairs. Please let me know if there is anything else we can do for you!

Good Evening Residents,

We are expecting record low temperatures over the next two days so I wanted to send out a quick reminder.

If your apartment is getting too warm, please do not turn off the heat. Instead, try cracking a window to help it cool down and just turn the thermostat to a lower temperature setting. With boiler heat, it is important to keep the hot water running through your pipes. This prevents them from freezing. The same thing goes with the plumbing pipes as well. Although snowfall didn't commence as early as originally anticipated this morning, we are keeping a very close eye on weather conditions as the day goes on. At present, the heaviest snowfall is forecasted to occur between noon and 3 p.m. today, with precipitation continuing into the evening hours although at a much lighter pace. Our initial focus will be to clear openings at the main entrances, throughout parking lots and sidewalks to enable those who must travel, safe ingress and egress.
