Hello Mckinley Hyde Park Residents,
Our goal is to provide you with a great living experience and a wonderful place to call home! Pest control is very important in apartments and in multifamily housing or other densely populated buildings. Living in gorgeous Tampa Bay is amazing, but unfortunately this can also mean rodents and other pests. Household pests usually include rats, termites, house mice, ants, roaches, etc. Like any other living being, pests tend to move to a place where they can survive and their needs are met. Pests are likely to be attracted to warm spaces and usually water in your house. Pest problems in one apartment, if left unchecked, can spread to neighboring apartments. Rather than detecting and handling the pest problem every time it arises, the better strategy is the prevention.
We are aware of some reports or rodents and termites and we are working diligently to have each community set up with preventative treatments through bait stations and close monitoring. We have fumigated two properties in the portfolio for termites, and we will continue to treat our properties as the need arises. We have weekly pest control services to each property every week, where interiors and exteriors are treated.
Please be patient as we work through each issue and concern. We are working very hard to remedy any issues you may be experiencing as quickly as we can.
Below are some tips to help prevent any pest issues in your home....
A clean and well maintained apartment: Take a walk through your apartment and ensure that your apartment is not offering loose points to attract pests. Clean your apartment at regular interval and avoid storing newspapers, paper bags, and boxes for long periods. Also, check for pests in packages or boxes before carrying them into your home.
Clean Kitchen waste: Dirty glasses and dishes in the sink and left around in apartment are major attractors of pests. Keep these items cleaned up and tidy to make sure bugs don’t have a reason to come inside. Don’t let garbage stack up or pile up in your home. Make sure that you don’t have bowls of water, discarded tires, and other receptacles that can contain rain water. Most household pests thrive in a filthy environment and sweep away spilled foods in every nook and crack of your house. Ensure that you do not have any fallen shelves or stacks of unused papers as these places appear inviting to most household pests.
Please let us know immediately if you are experiencing any pest issues, and we will place you on the pest control log for next weeks treatment.
