Service animal

Feedback Question for SoHo Flats

Hello. My lease did not include a pet/service animal but I was wondering how I would go about adding one. The animal is a Yorkie, and also a registered emotional support animal. Thank you Brittney

August Statements and Prorated Rent

Announcement for Multiple Communities

Dear Residents,

Many of you have received your August billing statements. For the residents that have lease expirations in August and will be moving out, these statements will not reflect the pro-rated rent amount that will be due on August 1st.

Additionally, our system is not able to prorate rent until after the move-out has been processed. If you have auto-pay setup for the month of August, it is highly recommended that you cancel your auto payment as it will not prorate your rent and the full rent balance due reflected on the account will be drafted. I left voicemails on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Called again on Friday and was told someone would reach out to me about the incorrect charge on my account. So which business day will someone either be fixing this issue or be giving me a call back?? I should only be charged the prorated amount for July; not the additional $151 on my account for extending the lease. I signed my notice to vacate months ago, so this is clearly an error. Rent is due tomorrow, and I will not be paying this incorrect amount.

Ensure front doors are sealed

Feedback Problem for SoHo Flats

Hey! You should probably check resident's front doors before scheduling power washing. My porch was just power washed and water came in under my door. I would say at least 1-2 gallons. Also, the water sprayed around the top of the door frame and sprayed water all over my desk where I work from home. It's crazy that water was able to come all the way into the living room. I was able to dry everything up quickly, but residents who aren't home may not be so fortunate...

I've called several times now and no one has picked up. I'm unable to pay the rent online because it says i have a $48 credit and that I moved out 2 days ago. I mean, i'm fine with not paying you guys for rent the next two months until I move out, but i'm not sure you guys want that...

LATE FEE UNFAIR

I feel this 100 dollar late fee is super extreme, I am a single mother and wasn't paid until today, this was the absolute earliest I could pay the rent. There should be more leeway, especially since I still paid the rent by the 3rd. We all have many financial obligations and I understand a fee after 7 days, but a one day late fee???? This makes me extremely upset with Mckinley...

Hi Jessica,

First I'd like to say I appreciate that you made your payment as soon as were able to and wish you an early Happy Mother's Day! Unfortunately, you will find in your lease that there will be a $100 fee assessed on the 3rd if we have not received payment. You do give a little leeway in allowing rent to come through on the 2nd as we know people get busy but we do have to apply the fee to coincide with your lease terms. i called two times yesterday and left messages, and once today, no response, yet i am being told i will be charged $100 a day fine if we do not resolve this rent issues by the 3rd?!!!
