Good Morning McKinley Hyde Park Residents,

We hope you all are doing well. I would like to take a moment to remind everyone of our rent payment policy stated in your lease agreement. Rent is due on the 1st of every month. You have until midnight on the second to submit your payment. Any payments received after midnight are considered late. A $100 late charge will be charged to your account on the 3 rd day of the month, and a $50 on the 10 th day of the month. Personal checks will not be accepted after the 2 nd . Missing Package

Feedback Problem for SoHo Flats

FedEx claims my package was delivered to the front door, but I was home at the time and the package is clearly not here! It was Christmas gift from a friend, so if it was delivered to another apartment #8 by mistake, please let me know! (1409, #8)

I am so sorry to hear that FedEx did not deliver your package to your door as they said they did.  Have you still not received it?  I will be sure to reach out to you should anyone turn in the package to the leasing office.  I hope you receive it soon!

No, the package has not turned up. The FedEx delivery driver maintains that it was delivered to the correct apartment, so I have to open a Lost Item claim with their company. Could you please contact FedEx and clarify with them the addresses of the buildings in this complex so that this does not happen with any other residents? It's a big inconvenience to not be able to receive mail to my apartment. Thank you.

I have reached out to the "office" many times to ask them to clarify the addresses in these buildings, I too often do NOT get my packages and or any delivery since there are so many confusing #'s all the same, they responded they were too busy to do this now!!!#theydontcare

STOLEN ROAD BIKE!!!!! White Scott Contessa Road Bike

Feedback Problem for SoHo Flats

My bike was put outside last night at Soho Flats. We locked it up trusting that it would be safe. This morning I went to do laundry and my bike is GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone had cut the bike lock with a tool and took my bike. I had it stored in my house for the past year. It hasn't even been outside more than 12 hours. This makes me so mad! My road bike is a 2013 White Scott Contessa Speed Bike original value of $1,200. I am shocked and angry! If anyone sees this bike please let me know 920-253-0517 - I have the bike reported to the police...

Resident Parking Permits

Dear Valued Resident(s),

We wanted to remind you that during the upcoming Gasparilla weekend, our tow company will be towing any vehicles that do not have a parking permit displayed. If you have not already done so, please stop by the Palma Ceia leasing office to obtain one by Friday, January 25 th .

As a reminder, only one permit is allowed per resident, so if we have record of a previous pass, we will not be able to issue an additional one.

So if I understand correctly, in Palma Ceia, none of the 10 guest spots can be used this weekend? And also, a reminder? Where was the first announcement about this rule?

I was just getting ready to ask the same question. The last parking reminder that I received was on 10/31/18 and clearly stated that towing would only be enforced after the hours of 7AM - 7PM Monday - Sunday.

Good Afternoon,

Thank you for the questions!  I apologize for the miscommunication.  Visitor parking will remain visitor parking and a parking permit is not required.  Standard towing policies still apply outside the hours of 7AM-7PM.  With it being Gasparilla weekend, we wanted to remind everyone of the importance of making sure your parking permit is displayed as parking in the area will be very limited.

Hey just wanted to point out that you guys just put notices on everyone's door about the parking in Palma Ceia this weekend, using the exact same wording as above. Saying all vehicles without permits would towed. Definitely makes it sound like that includes guest parking as well. Just want to be really clear on it. Thanks!

I just got home from work and there was no parking available in Eusonian. There are a few cars with no decals. After a long night of work, I would like to be able to park where I live.

Hello! Where is the best place to dispose of real Christmas trees? I’m a tenant of SoHo flats and didn’t know where to bring mine or if I could leave it by the dumpster?

There are two wasp nests that are making a nest by the stairs closest to the laundry room and another by the corner upstairs near my room (Room 6 - 1407). Could someone send somebody to get rid of them, I'd deal with it myself but I think you'd need some really strong stuff and I dont wanna get stung...

Grounds Maintenance: blowing every day?!?

Feedback Problem for SoHo Flats

For at least the last week or so Grounds Maintenance has been blowing every day that it hasn’t been raining. He’s doing it about 8-10am and he’s vrrooom vrrroomm vrrrrooooming all the time, vs. a constant speed. A video training of how to use a blower at a community like this may be helpful. I realize this is within working hours, but some people dont work 9-5 shifts or may work from home. The noise is it is incredibly irritating. There are so many more issues to address than blowing the property. Please ask him to clean the washing machines 3x a week instead. Thanks.

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us and for your feedback.  In an effort to keep our grounds maintained, our maintenance techs do blow the grounds and parking lots every morning as part of their routine.  I apologize this has been bothersome.  I will make sure they are blowing efficiently as to have them completed as quickly as possible.

Just wanted to say thanks. The crewman that blows around our place now is much better at it and even though it sounds a bit loco, it's easier to handle a constant state of vroom from a blower, it's true. Also, appreciate the common area around grills being kept cleaner.

Missing Packages

Feedback Problem for SoHo Flats

A lot of my packages are being delivered to the wrong door. I understand that there are a lot of apartments with the same number (which I think it is extremely stupid), and one of my kind neighbors did actually knock on my door to give me a package that was wrongly delivered to his door. Yet I am missing another package that might have been delivered to another "apartment 1." How can I resolve this issue? Urgently. It is outraging to think that someone just stole or took possession of something that isn't theirs before checking the name on the package...

Thank you for reaching out to us in regards to your packages. I am sorry to hear that they are not being delivered to the correct address.  My advice would be to contact the mail carrier(s) and make them aware of the occurrence(s).  Also, you may be able to put notes online at the time you are placing the orders giving them specific instructions of what building your apartment is located in.  I hope this helps!  We are happy that you choose to make Soho Flats your home and we appreciate you being here!

We have had to drop many packages off at other neighbors as well. It’s not the tenants fault. Please - management at McKinley/Hyde Park contact the USPS to resolve this issue, don’t put it back on the tenant who is paying YOU money to manage these things.
