Hi everyone! My name is Tammy Sharp and I just recently joined the McKinley Hyde Park / South Tampa team as the new Assistant Community Manager. I come to you with 11 years of property management expierince in the Tampa Bay area. My home is in Wesley Chapel where I love spending time with my husband and two rescues dogs, Coupe & Jagger. Coupe is named after my husbands 1940 Plymouth Coupe and Jagger is , of course, named after the rock star Mick Jagger.I enjoy spending my time off gardening, cooking and entertaining family.

I hope to meet many of you in person as I settle in...

Feedback Problem for Harper Flats

So any chance the washer with the moldy drowning underwear will be fixed anytime soon? It's been broken for over 2 weeks now. Again, this complex is a joke...

I appreciate you letting us know about the issue with the washing machine! We recieved your work order and the maintenenace technicians will absolutely take care of that tomorrow. We rely on residents to let us know when something is out of place or needs attention in the common areas of the apartments as we do not live there ourselves, so I definely apreciate your attention to the matter! If you have any questions or concerns about anything else please don't hesitate to reach out ot me! Last time I checked on Sunday this same washer was unplugged and clogged with moldy water again.Has it been fixed again?

Feedback Problem for Harper Flats

I just called to renew my lease after living here for 8 months. Before I said yes, I asked if there is any rent increase......then I was told I would be going from paying $929 to $1139!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's pretty disgusting to increase rent over $200 a month without any notice. If I didn't ask when would I have been told? I have had things break continuously and their lack of promptness on fixing them is horrid. I literally went my first month living here with a broken lock on my sliding glass door! I felt extremely unsafe. The landscape is horrible, people don't clean up after...

Also** I was told when signing this lease back in October that they were building a small dog park in the backyard. Not only did that never happen, but their are electrical units open and exposed and no trash can or doggy bags back there. It's literally just an open grass field with dog shit everywhere.

Trash Cost.. Again

Feedback Question for Harper Flats

I questioned the trash cost being $25.00 in early January & the response I received was that it was raised due to the "time of year, and trash intake". It's almost May, the trash bins are never completely full at pick up and I am still being charged $25.00 a month... That's a 150% increase... Why is this? Also - if this is permanent, it should have been communicated with the tenants...

I completely agree. I don't understand this fee. The recycle bins are also always empty when I walk over there.

Thank you for reaching out to us, you may post an add on craiglist/facebook and provide details on what you are looking to do. Once you find someone you would like to add to the lease they will need to come into the office to do an application with you to be added on to the lease. This is called a lease modification, the new applicant would have to pay for the application as a new add on. Frances, no I am not looking for a roommate in my current lease or apartment. My lease with you guys ends in July. I am looking for another girl who's lease ALSO ends with McKinley and perhaps we can find a new place.

Shortened Office Hours Scheduled for Wednesday, 4/18/18

Good evening Residents,

For tomorrow only, 4/18, we will have restricted leasing office hours. We will be open from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm and will return to normal business hours of 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Thursday, 4/19. Our after hours line along with emergency maintenance will be available should any emergencies arise. All other inquiries we will address promptly on Thursday morning.

Pool reopenings!

I just wanted to quickly let everyone know that the pools will be reopened for enjoyment after the resealing of the pavers! Arbor Flats, and both Westshore Flats will be reopening tomorrow! Bayshore Flats, however, will have the pool reopened on Friday! Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns! False Alarm!

Good morning McKinley family!

I'm back with another announcment! Starting today and continuing over the course of two days we are having our fire alarms tested by state mandate. What this means for you all is that the alarms will be going off intermitantly throughout the course of today and tomorrow. I understand this will be inconvenient and unpleasant on the ears, but I encourage everyone to view the sounding of the alarm as a relieving thing - it means that our buildings are prepared and safe!

Undeliverable Emails?

Feedback Question for Harper Flats

McKinley team: I recently have been attempting to email your team due to my lease not being renewed. (Thanks Steve for annotating it!) What processes do I need to start/who do I need to contact regarding my profile saying I must pay an extra month rent? (Lease ends in May, but shows a charge for June?) My emails won’t go through for anyone currently besides Steve. Could I get a number or have somebody call me at their earliest convenience? Thanks!

Our third party billing always charges for full months rent and does not know when you are vacating. If your vacate date does not fall on the last day of the month, please feel free to reach out to us and we would be more than happy to calculate the correct prorate amount due.
