If I fix the seal on my tub, will you reimburse me the cost?

Feedback Question for Harper Flats

I have already had maintenance visit and claim there is no issue with the tub not holding water. I informed him (prior to closing the ticket) it was a slow leak. I ran water this evening - full tub, but was distracted by urgent e-mails. When I reentered the bathroom the tub was entirely empty. So, again, will you reimburse my expense to correct this issue myself?

Hello Michelle, 

If the slow leak is still giving you trouble and you would like it resealed I can definitely reopen the ticket so that the technician can come back. Work orders are completed in-house so we would have to have it completed by Mckinley. I understand your concern about it not being addressed the first time and will advise that it is a slow leak and you would like the tub to be resealed. Also, in the future, if you have a specific concern as it relates to your household I can tackle the problem a bit quicker if you email me directly at Brittany.McLendon@McKinley.com. I have entered this in and they should be to you within the next 24-48 hours.

Recently we have received a few concerns regarding residents and their guests smoking in the community. I just wanted to send a friendly reminder that our properties here in the Tampa Bay Area are smoke-free communities and it is important that we abide by these policies:

1. This is designated a smoke-free community. Smoking is absolutely prohibited in all buildings and common areas, public and private spaces, including, but not limited to, apartment units, building hallways, laundry rooms, storage areas, vestibules, offices, parking lots, drives, sidewalks...

As an addendum, CSC Service Works is stating a 1-3 business day resolution. That's unacceptable!

I have been here less than one month. Everything sold to me by way of ammenties prior to signing my lease contract are not even offerings that function. I feel very baited!!!!!

Since, I'm venting...please correct the keypad on the community firepit area. The code provided does not permit access. I was present when another community member made the call to your office over 2 wks ago to advise you of the issue.

Hillsborough County Opens 3 Sandbag Sites

To help residents prepare for the possibility of flooding associated with the pending storm, Hillsborough County is making sandbags available to the public at three County parks.

Beginning Thursday, Aug. 29, sandbags will be available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily at the following locations:

Edward Medard Conservation Park – 6140 Turkey Creek Road, Plant City E.G. Simmons Conservation Park, 2401 19th Ave. NW, Ruskin Ed Radice Park, 14720 Ed Radice Drive, Tampa

The man who lives in apartment 101 downstairs, was extremely rude, was cussing my boyfriend out the second he stepped out of his vehicle when getting home in the afternoon from work, and went into the laundry room and dumped the clean clothes from every single one of the dryers onto the floor. Neither me or my boyfriend entertained his inappropriate mouth and ignored him when he repeatedly said “I dumped all the s*** out” toward my boyfriend, but this kind of hostile behavior does not make the community seem safe nor welcoming. September Statements and Prorated Rent

Many of you have received your September billing statements. For the residents that have lease expirations in September and will be moving out, these statements will not reflect the pro-rated rent amount that will be due on September 1st.

Additionally, our system is not able to prorate rent until after the move-out has been processed.
