As you all may know, today is Veterans Day. In honor of all who have served, we want to say thank you for that you have done and continue to do for our country. One of the best parts about working in the Tampa Bay Area is that we get to work with so many individuals who are in the armed forces. Card Readers on Washing Machines and Dryers

Feedback Problem for Harper Flats

Good morning, I'm having trouble with the washing machines and dryers. No matter which card I use, the card reader says "Busy, try again." Is this a problem with my cards or the machines themselves? I've had this problem since last night...

Good Afternoon Ian, 

Thank you for updating the office. If all card readers are displaying this error, I would encourage you to give a call to the support team at 1-877-264-6622. You can also submit an online request at https://www.cscsw.com/request-service/ and they can look into the error. The dryers are managed by a third party and it's preferred that they reach out directly to the resident to make sure no misinformation is communicated. However, if you run into any trouble I would be happy to step in to assist with the process. Call us at (813) 515-5925 if our assistance is needed with the process.

I submitted an online request. Do you know how quickly, on average, they respond to service requests?

Hello Ian. 

They have a turn around time of 72 hours at the latest but usually will respond as soon as a technician is available. They also offer phone calls to advise you when they are en route as well. With that being said, we're hopeful that the repairs are completed within the week.

A scheduled PayLease maintenance update is scheduled on October 27th from 12:00 AM - 6:00 AM. The PayLease website, payments application, and integrations will be unavailable during this time, and residents will be unable to make a payment . There is no action you need to take. Once the maintenance window is completed, all processes will resume as normal. Email me with any questions or concerns at Brittany.McLendon@McKinley.com .

Pressure Washing, Paint, and Cleaning! Oh My!

Your concerns are being heard! As you may have noticed, the maintenance technicians have started to pressure-wash all of the communities as well as paint the communities. We have received a few recommendations to spruce up the grounds and our amazing maintenance team has started to pressure-wash and paint. We are also working to restock and provide the tools and equipment in the community amenity areas. With that being said, please be mindful of wet paint when leaving and entering your apartment home. Can you have the landscapers come out, we are on week 3 and the lawn has not been cut. My neighbor had a little get together over the weekend and I was embarrassed for the family about the lawn.

The landscapers should have already cut the lawn, I wonder if this is an area they may be missing. I gave you a call and left a voicemail to find out a little more information. This is just a friendly reminder that rent is due today, October 01, 2019. There is a grace period through the 2nd and rent is officially late with a $100 late fee on October 3rd, 2019. If any outstanding balances over $100 are present on the 11th of the month there is an additional $50 late fee that applies. If I fix the seal on my tub, will you reimburse me the cost?

Feedback Question for Harper Flats

I have already had maintenance visit and claim there is no issue with the tub not holding water. I informed him (prior to closing the ticket) it was a slow leak. I ran water this evening - full tub, but was distracted by urgent e-mails. When I reentered the bathroom the tub was entirely empty. So, again, will you reimburse my expense to correct this issue myself?

Hello Michelle, 

If the slow leak is still giving you trouble and you would like it resealed I can definitely reopen the ticket so that the technician can come back. Work orders are completed in-house so we would have to have it completed by Mckinley. I understand your concern about it not being addressed the first time and will advise that it is a slow leak and you would like the tub to be resealed. Also, in the future, if you have a specific concern as it relates to your household I can tackle the problem a bit quicker if you email me directly at Brittany.McLendon@McKinley.com. I have entered this in and they should be to you within the next 24-48 hours.

Smoke-Free Community

Hello Everyone,

Recently we have received a few concerns regarding residents and their guests smoking in the community. I just wanted to send a friendly reminder that our properties here in the Tampa Bay Area are smoke-free communities and it is important that we abide by these policies:

1. This is designated a smoke-free community. Smoking is absolutely prohibited in all buildings and common areas, public and private spaces, including, but not limited to, apartment units, building hallways, laundry rooms, storage areas, vestibules, offices, parking lots, drives, sidewalks...
