The city of Tampa has published a maps of the downtown/Bayshore/Hyde Park areas showing all acceptable street parking during the Gasparilla festivities. Please review the link below and make sure any guests view the maps to prevent any parking issues over the weekend! With Gasparilla approaching, we wanted to send a friendly reminder about parking. Please be aware that the city may have additional restrictions on parking during this time.

The below parking rules should always be followed as it ensures that residents are given priority when it comes to parking and it is also a part of the lease agreement. If your community requires a decal, please make sure that you always have a decal placed in a visible area on your front windshield.

Feedback Problem for Carlyle Flats

The following is a factual accounting of a recent encounter with Mckinley. If they remove this post they’re clearly not proud of the lack of professionalism and care they displayed. On Sunday, January 5th I went out to the lot to retrieve something from my car at Carlyle Flats and discovered it was gone. My initial thought was that it was stolen since I had paid my rent and had the necessary decals but I gave Larsen’s a call just to rule out towing. Larsen’s proceeded to let me know that my car was towed due to expired tags. I honestly was not aware and renewed for two years that same night...

Hello Scott, I'm sorry to hear that your car was towed and do understand your frustration with what had to be an extremely inconvenient and emotional experience.                                                                                         I've left a personal message for you and look forward to your return call to discuss your posting.  However, I would like to address a couple of items in order to clarify for anyone who might be confused by what has been conveyed above.   Leases and addendums, which are signed by all leaseholders, outline parking policy and also comply with local and state laws.  Once a tag (license) has expired there is no grace period.  As mentioned, this is not only our policy and outlined in our resident's leases but perhaps most importantly it is Florida law.  We wish never to see our resident's vehicles towed and make efforts to keep residents informed to keep this from happening.  Should any resident have questions concerning this, please call our office and/or refer to your Lease and Parking Addendum for further clarification.  A MyMckinley posting with additional reminders will be forthcoming from our office.  Sincerely, Randy Maggart, Manager

Parking, Guests, and Decals

Feedback Problem for Carlyle Flats

Upon arriving home from work today, I noticed that there were a handful of cars parked in resident spots without decals. I can only assume that these were guests. If you have guests coming over, please instruct them to park on the street. It is incredibly inconsiderate to have your guest take a resident's parking spot that they paid for, and it might get your guest towed which is also inconsiderate. In regards to the recent towing of residents, make sure that your parking pass is placed in the front left corner of your windshield, as per the instructions. The tow driver is most likely...

I have heard A LOT of people getting towed from our own aparmtent complex. I took a look at our parking decals that were 2018-2019; are you guys issuing new ones before I get my car towed?

Vehicle and Maintenance

Feedback Problem for Carlyle Flats

Good morning, I woke up this morning, after parking my car in a crowded lot at my complex, to find my car has been towed out of a parking space while I have a decal on it. Along with this, my dryer has had an active maintenance request for 3 weeks. This is unacceptable to me and I would like to discuss these issues.
