Uhual Box

Feedback Problem for Monterey Lake

What is up with this Uhaul box that has been in our parking lot (right by building L) It is like these people are trying to save their spot (which I thought could not be done) So the only other spots that are really close to the entrance are taken up by that thing and the motorcycles. And when you have an eight month old plus groceries it is kinda hard to walk all the way through the parking lot. Maybe designate a few motorcycle spots instead of them taking up all the close ones....and oh my gosh get rid of that stupid Uhaul Box!

They are moving out by the weekend. They are not trying to save a spot and I noticed yesterday that they are parking their motorcycles in the spot with the box.

Hot Water

So every month that I have lived here our hot water has been shut off for at least three or four days every month. I think there should be a rent discount for the people who have had to deal with this hot water situation!

I do apologize for this, however I am trying my best to get this problem solved totally. Today is not a leak underground it is an emergency with the boiler.

I try to turn it off during times when people will not really be using the water so that it is not an inconveience. I live here too so this also affects me as well. I hope that you understand.

But what you don't realize is that there are people who are stay at home parents. and it is a HUGE inconvenience when I go in the kitchen to wash a bottle for my daughter and there is no hot water.

Then why not do something about it to show that you understand or whatever instead of just leaving us hanging. Because I am sure I am not the only resident that is pissed off because you keep shutting off our hot water. 0

There are 126 apartments in your court yard. I have only heard from 2 people. Sometimes when I say the water will be off it really isn't off the whole time. I give them a longer window period in case something happens. I personally had to boil water in order to wash my hair one day. I totally understand that it has happened several times but you are not without water for days. I am trying to get these problems solved totally so that this will not happen anymore.

I have subway cards left if you would like one.

when ur water goes out in a home or residence not in apartment complex
there is no reward it just gets fixed and then u go about business

Is there a limit on how many vehicles each apartment tenant (as in each one apartment) is allowed to have?

Good Morning. There is nothing in the lease per say or the rules. However, usually it is 2 cars per apartment. Is there someone in your area with an excessive amount of cars?

I've called into the office twice now and left a message both times under ext 2 work orders and have yet to receive a call back. In between the first call (sunday) and second call (friday/today) I walked over to the office and placed a work order(3rd time same problem). Even then it seemed like there was a lack of communication between the office staff and maintenance. I believe the lack of communication and call-backs from the voicemail is the reason my shower has been unusable since I moved in on July 25...

I do apologize for any inconveience. There could be several reasons why your requests have not been addressed. If you have a pet, if you have 2 bathrooms, or if the part you need is on order. We are servicing 504 apartments.

I only been here 9 1/2 months and I read the reviews on this place but still gave it a try but the reviews are so right. I will be adding a review on google today also. Since I been here our hot water has been cut off atleast 13 times and 2 of those times it was for more then 2 days.. What the best part is, is that you guys give us a notice stating lunch is on you!! a $5 subway gift card!!! are you kidding me! My wife doesnt even eat at subways..What about the $39.99 hotel fee we paid just to take a damn SHOWER!!!! My lease is up soon and I cant wait to go... I love the letters you people...

I apologize for the water issues, however I have been the manger for 3 months and I have never had the Hot water turned off for more than a few hours. Cold water is always available during the cut off period and you are always given notice as to when the water will be turned off. It is very important to me that my residents have hot water when they get home from work, myself included.
I hope that you understand why the water has been turned off several times. When this community was built Orlando was not nearly as big as it is now so all the underground plumbing is less than 1/2 inch copper piping. When the water pressure is increased in order to service Sea World, etc it breaks our pipes underground. We have no way of controlling this, but we are working on re-piping so that this inconveience will cease.

I've been a resident of Monteray Lakes for about 5 months now. I give the Staff here TWO THUMBS UP! In my opinion, they don't get half of the credit and/or praise they deserve. The Maintenance Staff is also in need of recogintion. Every single time I have put in a request for a work order - it's been done quickly AND with a smile :) I have NO problem walking into the office and having daily conversations with the Staff here. I would also like to thank Natasha for the good job she is doing in "cleaning" up OUR community!...

Hi Misty,

I agree, we have an outstanding team at Monterey. The office team is always so warm and welcoming. The maintenance team is on top of their game and we love their smiling faces :D In the short time Natasha has been at the property she has made a huge impact.

Trust me, I appreciate the Monterey Team more than you know. They are first class.

around 11 'clock came a bunch of teenagers pretty much every night to stay in the pool until around 3 in the morning. they are very loud people i believe they don't belong of this area. I don't care if they want to be in the pool until later but i have to work and sometimes i can't sleep because of that noise. I don't want you to close the pool for the neighbor that like to go at night but at least do something about the noise...

I sure will. If they are ever out there making loud noises after 10pm you can call our office number and there is an extension for our Loss Prevention (courtesy officer). Leave a message for him and he will come over there and handle the situation.

thank you for posting the info Natasha. The teenagers/ young adults are becoming more rowdy at the C pool after midnight and it is becoming quite obnoxious and a nuisance.
