Announcement for Monterey Lake

Dear Monterey Lake Residents,

With December rent being due this Saturday, 12/1/18, we wanted to remind everyone that we are no longer accepting rent payments through the office drop boxes. 

This decision was made for the protection and safety of our valued residents and their financial accounts. Unfortunately, there have been several cases of drop box theft and vandalism in our area which have compromised the accounts for renters at other communities.

We certainly do not want to make it more difficult for you to pay rent, but must be proactive in order to avoid any theft or vandalism that could compromise your privacy and/or financial information. As previously relayed to all residents through e-mails and office signage, these boxes will remain in use solely as Key Return Drop Boxes going forward. 

Please note that any payments received through the drop box will be returned to you on the following business day and your rent will be considered unpaid!

It is imperative that you make the proper arrangements NOW to ensure that your December payment is made on time through any of our other available payment methods.

If you wish to pay by check or money order, these must be brought in to the office during normal business hours. Our offices will be open tomorrow between the hours of 10am and 6pm.

You may also choose to pay with a check or credit card, through our resident portal online or by calling 1-866-869-4014 and providing your unique resident ID.

My fiancé turned in our rent through check, money order, and through paylease at amscot. And yet we get a note saying our rent is late. I’m just trying to figure out what’s going on. We never had trouble with the old system, but ever since you changed to the new we haven’t had anything but trouble. We payed everything and yet y’all are saying we payed nothing.
