I just went to the store. If you look at the parking by the post box there is a car with 2 flats and a motorcycle parked in front of it Would you plaese just walk out the office and see it for yourselves.you would have to be blind not to see it.If you go down a little farther there is a BMW with a flat.I paid 1150 dollars to live here and we shouldnt have to tell you how to do your job there is also a car parked in front of my building for 2 weeks without a sticker.

Thank you Whitney for adressing the problem. We moved here 8 years ago and fell in love with Conway. These new people that have been moving in are making the community look bad

@Gail: I, too, pay full price in rent and am in agreeance with you. Though I haven't lived here for 8 yrs, in the 1.5 years that I've been here so much has changed. I'm seeing more and more negatives (ghetto, lazy, section 8 junkies to be exact). Loud music, smoking weed everyday and fighting-- such as tonight. I'm counting the months to be out of here, as it seems the community would much rather accept someone living off the government opposed to a quiet, professional family wanting to come home in peace.

Still Waiting

Feedback Problem for Conway Forest

Why is the towing not happening? I have posted on here for the past few months and still there is no resolution. I talked to Gabby a few weeks ago and was told towing would resume within a week of our conversation. Parking is still a MAJOR ISSUE that is not being resolved. I have seen the same cars for the past month or more parked in front of the building I live in with no resident sticker on the car. I am forced to park really far away from my building and I pay rent to live here. Since Maura left the office problems in this community have gotten worse. We are told one thing and it's...

I to have to park faraway and at night getting irritated by this three cars parked in front of my apt and no stickers...one guy has three cars and lives buildings down parked cars there and never move..should have assigned parking or row away vehicles pay alot of money to have to walk quarter mile home late at night ...assigned parking would be nice how many people live in a building not on lease..office is not moving on this issue maybe because they dont have to deal with it not one spot available near my place at night but there is 20 handicapped spots wide open maybe too many of those

Good Morning Johnathan,

Thank you for reaching out to us!  The treadmills are in the works to be repaired shortly.  We are having to add a new electrical power source to the fitness center before we can move forward with repairing the machines as our vendor believes this was the original cause of the malfunction.  Please know, they will be fixed very soon!

We appreicate your patience during this time. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Voicemail Follow-Up

Feedback Problem for Conway Forest

Attn: Whitney, I was at work when I received your voicemail message, thank you for attempting to reach me. As you can see, there are several tenants at this community with the same or similar concerns. Having said this, I do not wish to address this matter "in private." Again, this is a community issue and the residents deserve to be informed of the plans as well. A great approach would be: enlightening us on the community board or letters on our doors. These methods were executed to prepare us for hurricane Dorian as with the shutting off of the water. Please advise immediately as...

Recurrent Water & Parking Issues

Feedback Problem for Conway Forest

Attn: Leasing Office and/ or Management, If we refer back to our emails or the thread of community announcements, every few months the water is being shut off. According to you all, the main pipe is ALWAYS the issue. Why is this? Shouldn't the City of Orlando be made aware of this reoccurring problem? Especially since many people see a spike in their utility bill after said "pipe line problem." This is a major inconvenience for your residents, EVERY FEW MONTHS. Please advise on a resolve with this, amongst other things, such as parking. As paying residents, we are STILL without...

Excercise room equipment STILL BROKE MONTH LATER VENDOR NOT COMING

Feedback Problem for Conway Forest

Ok so enough is enough with the vendor is coming story. Its been a month now and the ac got fixed so we can breath in there now but the equipment is still broke. Look I pay a high amount of rent here and part of that is for use of working equipment in the exercise room. So technically I am paying a portion of my rent for something that is not there so in my book thats a ripoff. You are the landlord and we are the tenants per the lease contract it is your job to fix and maintain all facilities which you are not. The office had has ample time to fix this issue and has not but has not forgotten...

We hope you all had a great weekend! This letter is to notify you that on Tuesday, September 10 th , the water to the entire community will be shut off beginning at 9AM due to a main line repair. We are estimating it could remain off for about 5-7 hours . Please make arrangements to be without water in your home for this amount of time. We will turn it back as soon as the repair is complete.

I have never lived anywhere or have heard of anyplace that has so many issues with their water! What is the issue? It seems like at least once a week the water is shut off. Not everybody is out of their homes during the day. So for those of us that aren’t this is a huge inconvenience.

whitney.glidewell's picture

Hi Jessica,

Thank you for reaching out!  There is a crack in a main water pipe underground.  Unfortunately, due to it being a main line, the entire community has to be shut off during the repair.  I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.  Please know, we will work to have it turned back on as soon as possible.

Best regards,

Whitney Glidewell

I agree, it is always the main pipe that needs repaired. I would think by this point there would be another option. Maybe replacing it completely? Would that fix the problem? Like I said in my email yesterday it is at least once a month that our water is being shut off. For those of us that are home during the hours that it is shut off, this is a huge inconvenience. It would be one thing if it only happened once. But this is an ongoing issue. At this point there should be a better resolution.

Jtyler1023, thanks for acknowledging this. I was sharing this info, along with other things with my brother who is a lawyer for the ninth circuit court. He recommended a few things that would probably cause an uproar. Therefore, I'm trying to give them (the leasing office) the benefit of the doubt to make some corrections, considering the revolving door of employees within the past year and a half.
The "main water line problem" is very suspect and I will get to the bottom of it if it happens again.

jtyler1023's picture

Shea_Saff thank you for looking into this for and trying to find a resolve. As someone who has lived here for 7 years I can assure you this has been going on a lot longer than a year and a half. The water issue and revolving door of employees. I would just say it has gotten worse in the last year and a half. Thank you for looking into it for us.
