Maintenance Footies

Feedback Idea for Conway Forest

I would like to recommend that maintenance personnel begin using paper footies over their work shoes when entering apartments for repairs. In my home, we always take our shoes off when entering so as not to track dirt, mud, water, etc. on the floors and carpets. With maintenance personnel, I must always clean up after whatever messes their shoes track in when they enter my home. <br /> <br /> Thank you for considering this idea.

I would first like the opportunity to introduce myself as the new community Manager for Conway Forest. I love his idea to have the maintenance where the footies while entering the apartments. I will order some tomorrow and implement them immediately. Thank you for the idea and the opportunity to improve.

Air Conditioning air filters

Feedback Question for Conway Forest

Id like to know why its "MY" responsibility to have the a/c air filters requested to be changed. I pay my rent here at conway forest and with that comes the maintenance that the community is supposed to provide. Regular SCHEDULED maintenance should be provided without me having to ask for it, like pest control, and a/c air filters. I was told that when I come in to pay my rent I can "ask" for one at that time but I pay online. Its not my fault that I choose to make my life easier by paying online verses having to go to the office and pay my rent. I shouldnt have to ask for...

Thank you for your question. Although we do have preventative maintenance programs in place alot of people like to change their filters more often. Some people like to change the filters themselves, and some like us to change them. We try as much as possible to provide excellent service to our residents, so filters are available in the office for pick up as often as they are requested, or if the resident would rather we change them they can put in a maintenance request online or by phone as often as they would like outside the parameters of the preventative maintence schedule.

That answer would be ok if it were actually changed. there is no "regular" maintenance. my air filter in the year and a half that i have actually lived here has only been changed two times. the first time it took a year for it to be changed at all, and I was the one that had to ask for it to be changed. If maintenance were indeed regular, then the air filter wouldnt have only been changed twice. an air filter should be changed once a month, changing it more often than that is un necessary and wasteful. If your maintenance department actually changed it on a regular schedule of once a month, we wouldnt be having this discussion.

Feedback Problem for Conway Forest

I’ve kept my mouth shut as long as I’m going to. I’m tired of being treated like cash flow, rather than a person of two, going on three, years residency at Conway Forest Apartments. I have had many, many problems with Conway Forest’s Assistant Manager, Tabitha, since she began working here. She often tells you she will do something, but fails to follow through and chooses not to return tenants phone calls. I have heard this same complaint from a number of other tenants, so it’s not just me that this happens to. She also resorts to a rude, intimidation management style with residents, rather...

Thank you for expressing your concerns. I am sorry to hear you feel this way as we always try to resolve resident issues expediently, promptly, and curteously. We always try to resolve any resident work orders as quickly as possible, however when a resident has special parameters in which they set for completing maintenence a delay may ensue while observing these sanctions. Management Illegally Changed Renewal Lease Date

Feedback Problem for Conway Forest

I met with Shawna on May 15, 2011 to renew my lease for 2011-2012. There was an error in the dates for my 2010 renewal letter, ending my lease on July 15, rather than July 31, 2011 (I moved in 8/1/09). The commencement date of August 1, 2001 was correct, so I signed the renewal letter. Shawna indicated she could not change the July 15th ending date in the 2010 letter because I had signed off on it and it would be illegal for her to do so. However, she was willing to change the lease ending date to July 31, 2012 in my 2011 renewal. However, she "also" changed the commencement date...

As we duscussed this morning and at your renewal we can not change previous lease dates, and your current lease will begin the day after your previous lease ends. I can't say thank you enough to Shana and her team in the office that also includes the maintenance staff! I had a problem recently that they helped me work through and because of this I would NOT hesitate to recommend Conway Forest as a great place to live (in fact I have recommended it to a co-worker). I have not received anything yet and I moved into the apartment in early December. I don't want the balance to keep piling up.
