New Stairs in Building 13

Feedback Problem for Turnbury at Countryside

I understand the new stairs being replaced for safety, but not informing the residents, on the second floor, of this inconvenience is unacceptable. It's cold, windy, and my dog has been inside all day and has to go potty. Thankfully the contractors allowed me to climb a ladder to the second floor to get into my apartment, but It's been over 30 minutes, my dog still has to potty and the contractors aren't even close to being done. The contractors still have to return tomorrow to finish the job. The expectation that everyone on the second floor will be gone all day or not need to...

Hello Jessica!  Thank you for this post and I do sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.  I did however, visit the area just after 6:00 p.m. and the stairs are completed.  There is no further work except for some touch up painting and we will do this without interruption to resident's access to the stairs. I'm sending a personal email to you to contact me should you have any further problems and I promise to assist right away.   Thank you and have a good evening, Randy, Community Manager

Some type of notice would've sufficed. Again, Thanks for the notice.

This cat has been roaming around in the community for almost 2 years. I am sure this cat lives outdoors.

He belongs to a man that lives in maybe building 27. He is an outdoor cat it seems because he always goes back to the man but is always roaming around.

Laundry room behind building 15

Feedback Problem for Turnbury at Countryside

The laundry room behind building 15 seems to constantly have issues. The door handle once again seems to be broke off. The machine to recharge your card at this one never seems to work, always fails. This isn't occasionally this has been going on for months with this machine, it never ever works. I had to go to two other laundry rooms just to put money on my card to do laundry, as the second location would not work either. Very frustrating. Today someone had poured either laundry liquid or fabric softener all over the floor, it was a mess. The ladies were cleaning it up when I went back...

Hello Scott, Thank you for this valuable feedback.  I will address these issues for you and hope to speak to you personally to get details.  All residents are responsible for picking up after each use.  I will not be able to add another trash receptacle as this encourages household trash to be left.  I will however, have extra patrols and cleanings added until we can get these problems controlled. Again, thank you so much for caring and giving this feedback.  Sincerely, Randy, Community Manager

Payment did not go though and I come to find out NOW 11/17 and I'm being threatened with an eviction.

Feedback Problem for Turnbury at Countryside

I was never informed the check did not go through until today when I go to pick up my A/C filter. Now, because of the time, they want to add an NSF fee and late fee (which they could not show me the transaction ID and the decline.) Managements should reach out to tenants ASAP when an issue like this happens and not let time pass by to threaten with an eviction. They have a new pay system and seems like I'm not the only one having problems. Since the 1st of this month Randy has been aware of an issue with the website login, and has been threatening with these fees regardless of the issues...

Lost rent check

Feedback Problem for Turnbury at Countryside

I've only been here 3 months and out of those three months twice I got a notice on my door stating that my rent payment was over due. Both times they were not. It was their error. How frustrating!...

Hello Teresa, Thank you so much for this post and I know it is frustrating when things like this happen.   As discussed, your payment did not interface with the account.  This is an error and it is definitely one on our part.  I apologize and promise to make this correct for you.   We are currently seeking answers to this "glitch" in the new system, which is thankfully extremely rare.  But please know, no one has lost your check.  The record of your payment is very visible in our payment system and is easily accessed to verify your what you've paid, it just didn't register with your ledger.   Apologies again!  Wishing you a wonderful evening.  Sincerely, Randy, Community Manager

Pay Online - New System

Feedback Problem for Turnbury at Countryside

The community supposedly left 3 paper notices on residents doors, of which I only found and saw only one a while ago, regarding the payment system. The first thing I noticed, other than they were changing something, was the online payment section, where it specifically stated "nothing changed". I was not able to make my payments "as I used to" and I come to find out I had to make them through my.mckinley.com I already had access to that site but it wasn't letting me login with my saved password and it just so happens that the "reset password" functionality...

Hello Karen,  I do understand your frustration and I'll be calling to discuss.  Hopefully we can come to a satisfactory conclusion for you.                                                                                                                      There is only one late fee assessed on the 3rd and that is for $100.00.   The $50.00 late fee is assessed on the 10th of the month.  When submitting for payment online, it is very important that this be done prior to the 3rd in order to avoid the late fee.  Residents reporting trouble with online service are given priority, but this only helps toward a late fee if reported prior to that late fee going into effect and the problem is with My.Mckinley online services and not the resident's financial partner.  Thank you so much for your posting and I look forward to speaking to you.  Sincerely, Randy, Community Manager

As I explained, the reset password feature on my.mckinley website was not working. I did have an account, contrary to what you told me was "the reason I couldn't login" because I wasn't registered. Today I find out "payment did not go through", supposedly, and I was never informed so I could address any issues on time. I did have an account registered on my.mckinley and I would have been able to make my payment had I been able to get my password reset. Further along, since you did not believe I had an account, I invite you too look at the maintenance requests I submitted in the past with my login. I had to create a new account so that I could make my payments. Thank you for helping me, but please don't tell me this was a courtesy, when in fact the system was misbehaving.

A used condom in the parking lot? Seriously?

Feedback Problem for Turnbury at Countryside

It's Sunday morning, Nov. 4, 9 a.m., and I'm walking my daughter to my car for church, when she spots something in the parking lot and asks me what it is. "I don't know, hun," I say, knowing full well it's a USED CONDOM. "It looks like a balloon," she says. And to a 9-year-old, that's what it appears to be. Now imagine a neighborhood kid picking it up, wondering what it is, or maybe even trying to blow it up. It's a biohazard, and some insufferable cretin left it in the parking lot. It's bad enough the dog poop isn't picked up, but a...

Doug, I am so sorry to hear of this incident!  I do want to apologize and say that we have someone to pick up grounds 7 days a week.  Unfortunately, this was missed.                                                                                      I would like to believe this was fragment of the flotsam and jetsam blown around during the tornado, or left over water balloons from Halloween.  As for the aforementioned alternative, let me state, this type of type of behavior it is not tolerated and debris of this nature is not tolerated as it could be a risk to humans and animals.  Please, to All Residents! help keep our Community clean!  Report this type of debris or trash and any other issue contributing unsightly and unsanitary conditions.  Thank you, Randy Maggart, Community Manager

I think it was the flotsam and jetsam that left it to begin with, Randy. :) Thanks for your attention to it — I noticed it was gone.
